What you did for Skagway was above and beyond wonderful. If any community deserves it, it would be Skagway ❤️. There are some amazing people that live and work there. My daughter is there now, working between college semesters. Every local she meets has been super welcoming and kind. As a mother I’ve been so grateful to the sense of community and the fact that strangers have embraced her and taken her under their wing ❤

We rented an electric vehicle from Klondike on our September cruise because we saw your last years Alaska cruise series. The day trip we took was by far the most memorable part of our cruise! Our car was filled with oohs and ahs! And the continual question, “Should we pull over”? YES! Highlights of the drive? Way too many to recount, but seeing a moose just walking down the side of the road was definitely near the top!! We had a photo at Emerald Lake printed on canvas to hang in my office. It’s one of those views that makes you just stop and thank our creator for gifting us with His unimaginable beauty! We were SO grateful that you shared your adventure with us.

Really appreciate your coverage of Skagway because we stayed on board when we visited that port. My husband was ill for most of the day so all we got was what could be viewed from the ship. We did get to see the landslide and the Train from our seats in the buffet restaurant though and we took several photos. You highlighted lots of great things to see and do if and when we have a chance to visit again. Thank you.🌹

One of my favorite things on my recent Princess cruise was the puppies. I would say you need a dog but then you wouldn’t be able to travel as much. In the meantime keep loving all of the dogs out there.

I hope one day you can have your very own puppy! We got our girl two years ago after waiting 11 years to get her and she’s the best 😊. Can’t believe that town was so busy.. i remember watching you guys go there before and there were not that many people. Glad the shop owners are getting that business. Thanks for sharing

I was on the Grand Princess and got covid this was the cruise previous to yours I was onboard May 6th-20th. Many of our ship mates had a bad cold.

We were on Royal Princess from May 27- June 3. Royal Princess is gorgeous. We did Whale watching tour in Juneau and we saw 5-6 Whales with. A Calf breaching out of the water. It was a wonderful experience. I still couldn’t believe it. It was rainy and cold. It was actually miserable but totally worth it with the shot I got with that Calf breaching out of the water.

Wow so glad I found you guys, I’m cruising to Alaska in August and I have been watching videos on Alaska like crazy and this is hands down among the best and I love you support local and you really know the ins and outs. Great info great videos. Even though I cruise mostly carnival I got tremendously value from watching! Thanks!

We’ll be on our 2nd Alaska cruise in October, so I’m taking notes. I will definitely look for Klondike Gift Supply this time. I think we’ll find lots of great gifts to pick up.

Yes, you did get the best seat in the house after the puppy's. I've been on the Grand 4 times and that couch is ALWAYS taken. I sometimes like to stay on board in port just so I can sit in all the best seats and swim in a empty pool. Bringing back some nice memories❣

Love your vlogs. Cruised Holland America Eurodam on June 3, and like you we had ridiculously great weather. Sunny and warm in Ketchikan and Sitka, light drizzle in Juneau that cleared up when we arrived at Mendenhall Glacier, some clouds but not much rain in Glacier Bay and Icy Strait/Hoonah. My favorite things about being on the Holland America Eurodam as opposed to a different ship? BB King’s Blues Club had serious vocalists and musicians; and there is so much space devoted to being outdoors, including a wraparound promenade deck that makes an uninterrupted 1/3 mile walk. We also loved the Tamarind restaurant. As good as any landlocked pan-Asian restaurant I can recall. Sitka was my favorite port, just such a welcoming and relaxing place to walk and explore. Our whale watch excursion out of Icy Strait Point was magical. A group of five humpback whales hung out with the boats and performed close-up synchronized water ballet for half an hour.

Another great video! I loved Skagway! We went to the Red Onion on a bus tour for breakfast & story telling. It was so much fun & very interesting. I was so glad you had your duck fart there! Made my day! We took a bus up the Klondike summit and then panned for gold. Went to a cemetery and learned about the locals. It was an awesome day for us. Thanks for sharing and bringing back those wonderful memories! 💕 Next time maybe the White Pass Train...we weren't sure we could sit still for that trip? Blessings to you both. 🙏

This is awesome!!! I am so glad I found your Vlogs. We were in Skagway 3 weeks ago and were unable to go into town due to being delayed on the train. I am so excited I will be able to go shopping and purchase things from Skagway. :). Thank you for letting me know I can purchase things from locally owned !!

We loved Alaska when we were there last year. We took a tour with Chilkoot Tours up to Emerald Lake. Our driver was awesome and very informative. We were there the day before the first landslide happened. 😱

I went to Skagway, in July 2013, on the White Pass Railroad from Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. Unfortunately, I went on a Sunday, and there were no cruise ships in port, so the town was shut up tight. I am planning to go on Princess in 2025 and look forward to seeing Skagway open to visitors that day.

Loved this video! Going on our 1st Alaska cruise in August on Royal Princess. I have two questions for you…. Are the puppies on all the Princess ships that port in Skagway? And does Woodlands sell plus sized t-shirts! Thanks and love your channel and your mom is in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Yes, the puppies are on the Skagway day! And Woodlands sells most products up to a 3xl, but they do have some 4xl in certain designs

So my question is...within those cruise town and cities where might I find beautiful Alaskan themed Nativities? I thought you two would be the best folks to ask.

I ALWAYS GET A BIG LAUGH LOOKING AT THE FIRST DOCKING POSITION OVER ON THE OTHER SIDE...IT IS WHERE OUR DISNEY WONDER PARKED AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE SHIP IS ABOUT TO RUN OVER THE TOWN. IT MAKES ME THINK OF THE SCENE IN THE OLD AIRPLANE MOVIE...OOPS I'M ON CAPS LOCK...SORRY

Depends on the time of the year and where you are. Some years they are really bad. So far this year they haven't been terrible in the Anchorage area. We always encourage people who are visiting to bring bug spray with them just in case.
