Discover the world of stealthy samurais, nimble ninjas, and graceful geishas in an ancient castle town just outside of Tokyo.
Shizuka journeys to Odawara, a city in Kanagawa Prefecture steeped in samurai history. After arriving in the city center, Shizuka samples some local cuisine, explores Odawara Castle, and dresses up in a traditional costume.
To wrap up the town tour, Shizuka heads to a special restaurant to sip on sake and feast on an elegant kaiseki meal alongside a geisha.

Japanese history is always a blast with our host and cameraman! I believe the crew is doing good as costume show the times of feel and importance. At that "little bits" of food make me think I can live a longer age there there in Japan! Thank you!

I visited this city a few years ago. It was amazing but we didn't have a tour guide that knew so much about the history. Watching this felt like I learned so much, and having the memories of visiting the castle only made me more impressed. I will have to visit again soon.

the geisha games are rarely showcased anywhere, really cool to see! the creativity and presentation of the food made me depressed as I eat my fried chicken dinner..

I don't know...I would feel uncomfortable and self conscious having someone watching me eat. Also feelings of "I'm not worthy" But Odawara looks like a fantastic place to visit
