There are few animals cuter than the bathing snow monkeys that live in Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano, Japan. On this trip to see the famous Japanese macaques, we also stopped by Matsumoto Castle and Zenkoji temple. Enjoy!
COMMENT: Where in Japan should we go next???

Did anyone noticed how calm the monkeys were? some of them are like meditating in the hot water :) Its beautiful isn't it. It shows that they natural habitat has not touched by the Japanese. Much respect for the Japanese..

Oh man, so much nostalgia. I lived Matsumoto for a bit over a year, and my fiance has family in Nagano so we go there often. I think the coolest thing about Matsumoto Castle is the hidden floor. From the outside it looks like there are only 5 floors but there is a hidden 6th floor with no windows where castle grad could ambush an attacking force. Beautiful video man, as always.

Whoa, Rachel wasn't kidding at all when she said your videos are really well edited etc. This is the first I've watched (so far) but it's so good! Now I really really *really* need to visit Japan.

Rick! There aren't many people who were around or would remember the name change. Thanks much for this comment, I value long term viewers highly. Stay tuned... It's about to get good (hopefully) this year. Andrew

Wow! I'm excited for you! I remember packing a backpack and moving here with pretty much nothing just after graduation. Such a fun and adventurous time. What part of Japan are you aiming to move to?

***** Ah that sound like exactly what i'm doing :P umm hopefully Toyko or somewhere nearby.. My Boyfriend is half Japanese and his Nan lives in Sushi, so a few train stops away from her would be great :)

I love seeing them so relaxed. Nature gives us what we need. The monkeys have their springs and we humans went to theirs.

Glad you found my channel, thanks for the comment! Rachel and Jun were very kind to let me help with the Linimo video :-) My videos are all editing in Adobe Premiere with motion graphics created in Photoshop and Illustrator and then animated in After Effects... is that what you were looking for? Oh, I also shoot the video with a NikonD750, Sony rx100m3, and GoPro Hero3... Let me know if you have more questions. :-)
