Amber I used to give tours in the Liberace mansion and we dressed up in fancy ball gowns to do it. It was so much fun! (Also an honor) The amount of details in his house is elaborate to say the least and he built it piece by piece as he traveled and got ideas. He would have artists from around the world come work their skills on small areas to re-create things he saw ie ceilings in Italy (fresco), he had a Moroccan room (upstairs) with unbelievable tiles, etc. The hallway of mirrors (and he had mirrors EVERYWHERE) was symbolic to him as you could literally see forever as you walked down them- it’s a wonderful tribute that they have kept it intact to celebrate the memory of a wonderful man. Amber thank you for being so respectful with his legacy as he was the ultimate’EXTRA’ of his time and loved by many- you mirror him in so many ways and clearly have an aesthetic seeking old soul that brings light wherever you go- YOU CREATE BEAUTY- the world would be unbearable without it- thus without you 😍

I feel like anyone who steps into Liberace's home becomes 35% more flamboyant.

We can't judge Amber or anyone's else taste in home furnishings. Many here love pieces like she loves. Many of Liberace's things are/were priceless antiques, and we all know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Much is missing here, as much was sold. He'd done tours on you tube of this house before. She instantly loved his front doors, and so do I. I saw him in person in Vegas several times, he used to say "Ladies, if you can't applaud, just rattle your jewelry.'' At one time, he had his own museum; I went there also. What a gentle, kind man he was. He gave his proteges a leg up in their careers; many would open for his Las Vegas act. Nobody was more generous and wonderful to his mother than he was. If you love classical music find one piece you love here, on y-t and watch his fingers fly. Yes I'm w you in spirit Amber. I too, Loved what you loved in his home! It's never enough if you love it. Anything less and minimal is just kind of boring, to people like me. You have to see the movie of the last years of his life! (w Michael Douglas) As far as seeing the palace of Versailles, where do you think he got his ideas from?

hey amber! if youre actually going to look into that “stained glass” it may help you to know its actually acid etched :) so find an acid etching business rather than a stained glass business. hope this helps your extravagant decor!!

Not many people know, but Liberace is half Italian and half Polish. I think he loved glamor because of his Italian roots, but reading the bibliography I found out that he always emphasized Polish origin. I come from Poland and I am proud that people connected with my origin are so famous.

Lol this would be your dream house. It’s interesting though, down stairs is very Louis XIV, with some Regency, mixed in but the second floor has some definite Moroccan, Marrakech vibes, mixed with late 70’s. You’re going to have way too much fun shopping for home decor with this in mind.

Being a millennial, I always heard of Liberace, but he was WAY before my time as far as live music goes. My girlfriends always teased my love of fur and sequins came from him 😋. I'm happy to be a part of Amber's fan base to get this once in a lifetime tour of his home though! Things I see incorporated in Amber's home: etched glass mirrors with quotes, swan faucets, novelty antique lamps, oriental rugs, french inspired furniture, gold bar cart for perfume 😉,marble foyer floors with color block borders, painted ceiling, angel statues, baby grand piano that plays itself, naked women statues. I think you should etch the glass in the foyer with a beautiful woman and a quote 👍. I loved your vintage Dolce and Gabbana outfit btw. I'm guessing the lawyer had to come on account of how expensive and priceless his home is. 😊
