Welcome to my Friesian Horses channel.
My name is Yvonne. I create and post videos about my daily life with Friesian Horses. I will show you the true Friesian Horse and what they are like: day to day care, training, riding dressage and the very special birthing of foals. I explain the facts about breeding Friesian Horses and the steps I take to help better the breed.
You will learn that Friesian Horses have a naturally high gait, whether or not they can jump, if they are good for beginners and what they eat.
You will see them running, trotting, playing and even fighting.
I show you every aspect of my life with horses; the beautiful and the not so pretty. What you see in my videos is real!

How wonderful to see the moderators again! Their smiles lit up Stal G. 😀😁😃 BOSS Rein is always so welcoming to visitors, and he goes out of his way to allow everyone to meet and greet his beautiful horses. 🐴🐎 I was very glad to see Johnny again too! Risey looks so beautiful and happy! He is loving life with Yvonne and everyone at Stal H. ❤ I still have trouble remembering that Sanne and Reina are mares now, and Ster ones to boot! 💫💫 I still tend to think of them as young fillies, frisking about in the meadow with their mems, and in Sanne's case, causing mem Sjirkje some stressful times! Thank you Yvonne for allowing us to see your daily activities , Its great to see the mods and Greg there visiting , and seeing Risey live his best life even with wobblers he looks happy. I did watch the inspections as they are putting them on youtube , it was exciting to see Sanne and Reina become Star mares ,Boss Rein must be really happy. Thank you to all the Friesian horse breeders for keeping these beautiful horses from extinction

Risey is doing so well under Yvonne's care! If LOVE could cure Wobblers, he would have been rid of it long ago! For now, I'm happy to see that he has a little more control over his hind legs than he did when he first arrived at Stal H. It seems like he is learning how to LIVE with his disability. I'm especially glad to see this, as it's a sign that he may be able to stand with the ladies in the pasture one day. 🤞for next Spring!

The Risey and Spidey case are quite literal. It's from the more mature horse, the remaining ones learn their behaviours. Sniffing feces is an olfactory communication that contains social cues including identifying the gender of the horses, whether the mares are in heat, the pecking order etc. A dominant horse may do it more often, I don't think I've seen Spidey interested in it that much until he started frequenting Rising Star.

I love to see Risey so happy but I couldn`t cope with the worry of keeping such a large energetic horse with wobbler with such a small pony. If he falls on Spidey that would surely have a devastating result.

It was wonderful to see all of the visitors! So happy that they got to spend time with their “subjects” and show them some love! And Greg - he is such a wonderful supportive herd member, visiting again had to be a thrill for him and Yvonne. Risey looks good, but I do hold my breath sometimes when he takes off running. I know we just passed the second anniversary of Yvonne’s accident - my, how things have changed and a lot has happened. Quite sad in some ways yet also remarkable!!!! Yvonne - you will always be my #1 power woman 🥰.

I always love seeing all the horses, but especially Risey & Belle. I only wish i could go there and love on them.. they are so beautiful & loving. Yvonne does such a wonderful job with all the horses! Congratulations on the 2 new star mares... like one of the others, it is hard to realize they are grown now since i have watched them since birth.

Wow your land certainly becomes a quagmire in this weather! Looks like little Belle's hooves are a lot harder than when she was born, you showed us then. Love my darlings Risey and Spidey together, even smelling poop, but can't wait to see Risey with Yfke. And can't wait to see Reintje's latest foal - maybe some more Sterre in the future. Looks like dear Bjarni is there - Stal G. Gosh, he's gorgeous, as is the grey cat. I went to our National Stud on Tuesday. One of the retired thoroughbreds (Faugheen) is the same colour as Risey, I had a fantastic experience giving him treats and rubbing him all the while reminding myself it's not Risey. 😢
