Milan Bay??? There is no vowel between the 'L' and 'N' in Milne Bay. You don't pronounce 'KILN' with a vowel between the two last letters, nor should you add a vowel in MILNE. For those who don't know, it was named after, Admiral of the Fleet Sir Alexander Milne who died 1896. I love all of PNG and all it's people, I have my preferences as many I'm sure do, but the many islands in the area of Milne bay can perhaps be equaled but not beaten.
