Goodness, the Royal Princess is absolutely gorgeous...elegant...and classy. The over all blends of light brown, blue and white throughout the ship with crystal glittering diamonds throughout is heavenly.

Enjoyed watching. We will be on the Royal Princess this September 17 round trip from Los Angeles to Alaska. Looking forward to it. This will be our 7th cruise with princess first time on this class of ship . Princess ships are elegant but not stuffy, very casual . Love the decor a very warm feeling. Thanks for posting.

I did enjoy this. It brought back memories because it is almost identical to the Regal Princess I was on last month. But I thought there was an aft pool I didn’t see in this video, and I thought the Royal had Alfredo’s, which I didn’t see.

We were booked for the Alaska cruisetour on Royal Princess in May 2020 but the trip was cancelled because of Covid-19. Can't wait for time when travels can commence.

We just took the Royal to Hawaii. The staff were OUTSTANDING!! However, the staterooms are noticeably smaller than the older Princess ships and the balcony was really, really small. My husband and I could both sit on the balcony, but we couldn’t both put the backs down and lounge on the balcony. We were in a Club Class mini-suite which is what we normally book and we’re disappointed in the size. One of the other passengers who had a suite was equally critically on how much smaller it was than what she had experienced on other Princess ships. I won’t say I would never book the Royal again, but it will not be my first choice.

Thank you for watching 👍 We agree with you about the size of the balconies in the mini suites (we have a video tour of one on the Sky Princess on our Princess playlist). But we love the atrium area on the Royal class ships. Have you tried either the Enchanted, Sky or Discovery? We really like these ships - though the balconies are still on the smaller side.

Great as always. I'm interested to know your thoughts on that ship compared to the Britannia as they are the same hull-different decor... I do miss your voice in the video though.

Stubi L Thanks Stubi. Your lovely feedback is much appreciated. ☺️ Yes, the Britannia and the Royal are both the same class of ship but they are much much different inside. I would say that the Britannia is more contemporary and quite funky inside. The Royal Princess by contrast feels much more plush and luxurious. The colours (soft browns, lots of gold and beiges mostly) remind us a little of the Cunard ships. We prefer the Royal Princess to be honest, but you know, it’s all a matter of personal taste. Oh, and there’s plenty of vocals on our Caribbean part 2 video coming very soon. 👍😆

For those who are totally blind, either a narrative or if possible, a link to a full description of the Cruise ship would really be nice. Could you please work this out for your blind audience? Some of us live with ourselves or with a pet, so we don't have someone to describe everything we need to know about the layout of the ship. We would sincerely appreciate this. Thank you so very, very much.

Hi Heather. Thank you for your feedback. I think you’ll find this is the only video on our channel with no narrative. All the others have. I’m sorry you saw this one first! We tried this one as an experiment to see if people preferred our videos without narrative but the feedback was a resounding ‘no’ so we binned the idea. Thank you also for watching. Cool horn. The ship is too big for us. I like the Ruby, Grand and Golden class or smaller. I want my cruise to still feel like a ship and not a home, town or amusement park. Good luck and Bon Voyage

Is this the same class of ship as P&O Britannia? Would you say that Princess is a bit more up market?

Hi Colin, yes it is the same class. Princess call it the 'Royal Class' and they have (when all the new ships are launched) five of them. Is Princess more up market? We tend to think so, although there is one fundamental difference. Princess is predominantly American passenger focussed and P&O is very British. Therefore, the feel of the ship is different. Princess is a little bit more subtle with its partying, but P&O is a little more observant when it comes to dress codes. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
