Appearing as the grand prize of the Far From Home Lock Box, players will soon have the opportunity to fly the updated, 32nd-century version of the hero ship appearing on-screen in the latest season of Star Trek: Discovery!
This ship - as true of all Federation starships - may only be commissioned by players that either began their career with the Federation, or later allied through their Romulan or Dominion storyline missions. Captains from the KDF who have reached level 65 will also be eligible to fly this ship, as part of the “Cross Faction Flying” unlock achieved at that level.

Apparently they're fixing the saucer so that it works with the shield visuals in the next patch, so hopefully some of those nice visuals will work properly!

the saucer sections change with the base skin used. With the ordinary crossfields I put different vanity shields on and then take them into the ship tailor to see how changing the base skin and pattern/colour options effect what's seen through. there's also a number of the vanity effects that show the base skin in places, like the romulan shield array and counter command shields, that work better with models that can't be fully covered by vanity effects, like this. If you play around with the tailor you might find something.

Not gonna lie, im kinda liking the look of this ship. Too bad that its yet another lootbox ship though. Why they keep pushing iconic ships from tv shows and movies into lootboxes instead of zen store i will never know but it is what it is i guess

@@Techno_Bunny433 That doesn’t even make sense they would make more with Zen, I would buy with money while I would never buy with Lockboxes, And I bet many more people would do like me, so profit is much higher there. I would even buy for 50 bucks so yeah makes no sense

For the saucer problem, change with the basic discovery =) Edit: and maybe a other material could help with the vanity shield problem? Don't can test it myself atm

ZEFilms; You may have to do this one over as they have changed the way vanity shields interact with the saucer section on the CrossField Refit: "Vanity shield FX will now properly display on Crossfield variants' saucer" from the ARC Website

It's a bug imo. I have the first Spearhead and you can see thru the model from the open bay, as well as the saucer has issues with skins.

Firstly, great vid as always. Now the ship...nice ship, but the Lock Box bs has gotten old, especially if you dropped a hefty chunk of cheddar on the legendary set.

hooooooooooooooow can you refit a millenia old shiiiip!? The materials science advancement, the advances in EPS transfer, the simple computer systems, this would be a replica of the old ship, it cannot possibly be a refit!!!

With the advent of programmable matter odds are refiting ships has become as easy as just uploading an updated design. Odds are the hardest part of the refit was integrating programmable matter tech into the ship itself

It's because no one can no that this is a ship that traveled in time to the future as that would be a massive violation of the temporal accords and most likely lead to remaining factions going to war with the federation for violating those agreements so by giving it the A registry and overhauling it they can just say it's a new ship using an old registry.
