It’s such a coincidence, when I was a child, where we lived, every night there was a Jewish old man that played his violin. I got so use to listen to him play. As a teen there was an old Jewish man and his sisters who played their music every night. I’m a Puerto Rican and found out my grandfather was Puerto Rican/Jewish… he never told us. Found out after he passed away. No wonder I love Jewish music ❤ it followed me… letting me know

similar story for me i am Andaluz and portuguese and found out later on after my grandfather passed that he was Sephardic jew, he kept it from most people. His family had converted to Christianity when he was very young. It was found out by my aunt because she was curious as to why our family was never catholic.

👏 to people who have the courage to tell in public un these days they have Jewish genes. The reason your grandparents hid their Jewish origin and identity might have been because antisemitism have never disappeared from the inquisition and long before that to these days.

God blesses without difference. God does not favour one individual/nation more than another. It’s the mind set of each individual/nation, that assumes otherwise. Who am I to claim preferential treatment. EVERYONE, every nation must simply bow to God, be subordinate. Be free of mental assumptions. Only then will INHERENT PEACE be the norm. Blessings. Be happy because happiness and joy is God living us.

Beautiful - and interesting. It almost sounds similar to some traditional Circus music. I wonder if there's a connection between Jewish Klezmer music and old circuses?

Why is Klezmer music so sad and haunting?
@pollymotley5041Ай бұрын
Michelle, lots of klezmer is sad and haunting for two reasons imho: 1) the way Jewish people have been treated by hate-filled ignoramuses for thousands of years and 2) the love of G-d and yearning for Him. The most heart-felt love songs _are_ often sad and haunting aren't they? Klezmer also positively bursts with the joy of life though! It lovingly grasps what in a one-dimensional view can seem like opposites (sadness/joy; haunting/triumphant) and quite miraculously weaves it together ... allowing us to join hands and dance with it all. Soul music! Sorry this is so long. All the best to you. Am Yisrael Chai ❤

And they put him on the cross, too...Just be factual.
@kimquinn77284 ай бұрын
@@alexwholenessThey? Some. A few. Stop these blanket statements that keep hatred going, perpetuating. If it spiritually outrages you, please consider that Almighty God, his father, knew what would occur. That there would be those of his birth race who would reject his son and, by the same token, that many would put faith in him. He had such confidence in this that Jesus spent his 3 year ministry preaching only to the Jews first and it was after a set amount of time after his death that they took the good news into Samaria and abroad. If your grandparents or great, great great, was involved in a great wrong during their life does that or should that make you an object of hatred? Should your children be hounded and abused for something you had no part in? I am not Jewish but I have confidence that God knew what would happen and do not forget that Jesus had a role to fulfill. Adam, who was a perfect man, in health, mental ability, understanding brought the conditions we see today by a lack of love and gratitude, appreciation and loyalty to his maker and God. Jesus needed to show that another perfect man could be all those things even to death. Tonight is Nisan 14. The one thing Jesus commanded his followers to do was gather together and pass the emblems that represent his body and blood given in mankind's behalf. He didn't forget to say "This is when you should celebrate my birth. This is what you should do to remember my resurrection....". He set a pattern for this night. "Do this in remembrance of me." If you have 1 hour out of the year the nearest Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses around the planet beginning at sundown will gather to do as he asked and any and all are welcome. We number about 9,000,000 baptized brothers and sisters but last year, earth wide, over 20,000,000 attended. Of different faiths even. Out of respect for what Jesus said and did. This is what he wants mankind to remember, to follow through with. To appreciate. He is merciful and loving and sees our potential despite our many faults, like his father does. Attacking another, verbally or otherwise, hurts his father. Obedience to his son brings him great joy. 1John 5:3, 3, For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome, John 14:23, 23, In answer Jesus said to him: “If anyone loves me, *he will observe my word*, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him.
