Rightly said mate. Another thing is, Kamal is releasing this film in Bollywood too. Bollywood audience already gave injustice to Kamal by flopping even his big hit Dasavatharam (Dasavatar in hindi). But still, Kamal is believing Bollywood people. Viswaroopam is just only a big hype. I can surely say, this film won't satisfy every audience's taste. It might satisfy hard-core Kamalians. Not the general audience. Viswaroopam is surely not a commercial film unlike Dasavatharam.

Finally tamiltalkies proved they are right. Especially the last line. Since no distributors(takers) are willing to pay Kamal's quoted price, Kamal himself is distributing & releasing Viswaroopam. Kamal direct panra padatha, Kamal eh than produce pannanum, Kamal eh than release um pannanum. No producers, distributors, etc will take big risk to invest for Kamal's own directed movies. But Kamal fans will never agree this fact and instead they just shouting shit here ...

Well said, mate. As he said in this video, Kamal is doing movies aiming for award. But not targetting general audience. Also Kamal fails to understand audience pulse. Today, people comes to theatre to watch entertaining movies to forget worries and reduce tension/stress from their busy life. Kamal might be a genius writer. But if Kamal thinks that, every audience are genius to understand his movies, then his logic is completely wrong. That's the reason for his directed movies failing at BO.

So now even If Mr. Kamal Hassan hadn't made all those movies that some people claim to be inappropriate from a person for who many will the stature of being a legend, Mr. Hassans one Thevar Magan, his one Hey Ram, his one Anbe sivam, his one Virumaandi, his one micheal Madhana Kama Rajan, his one PKS is enough to prove everyone of his detractors wrong to the hilt. Just these few movies alone makes Mr.Kamal Hassan deserving of all the praises and adulation's.

when one sees Nayagan and when one gets to know the character Velu Nayakkar, one gets to know Velu Nayakar ! and not Marlon brando or Don Corleone, when one sees Avai shanmugi and gets to know that Sari clad Brahmin old woman one doesn't get to see Mrs. Euphgeina Doubtfire or Robin Williams and that's where some people fail to see the work of Mr.Kamal Hassans genius.
