Need to take K2 + D3 to get the calcium into the bones and keep it out of the blood vessels. Magnesium as well. A lot of these past negative studies only used 400 IU per day... not enough. Its like taking 1/10th of an aspirin and concluding that aspirin does not help with headaches

Correct. The connection between calcium and cardiovascular disease is plausible. Calcium deposits are part of artery-clogging plaque. They also contribute to stiffening of the arteries and interfere with the action of heart valves.

Apparently Boron also helps with getting Calcium out of the blood and back into the bones. Given that Boron (as Borax) has a better LD50 profile than table salt, it's easy to administer

Thanks for this. Am on 5,000IU of D3 & 1,500mcg of K2-MK7. A recent blood test revealed 57ng/ml. #score #ScrewCovid19

Beyond correlation by latitude, IMO we have an annual correlation in the northern hemisphere with the winter "cold and flu season". This is not just a temperature variation, but a sunlight (and limited exposure by both time and skin coverage) variation. Also, genetic evaluation is a critical point. "One size fits all" medicine is as lazy and dangerous as a patient phoning in a cancer self-diagnosis and the doctor treating it without even doing an exam or testing. A 23&Me-level diagnostic sequencing could probably be done at under $100/patient (with patient consent and control of the data) and flagged for pathogenic risks and preventive/corrective treatment optimization.

Interesting. Michael Holick did a study which showed that taking vitamin D with fat reduced uptake. The final question referred to a study that appeared to show uptake doubled when vitamin D was taken with a meal. Maybe we should lock the two parties in a room!

I take D3 + K2 combination. I live in London UK and come from rainy Ireland. We don't get exposure to sunshine so please take a supplement. It is also linked to winter depression (SAD) - Suicide is very high in British Isles and Scandinavia. Also we are not getting the minerals from vegetables due to intensive farming depleting the soil. Magnesium and Iodine are 2 I can think of, Magnesium has 300 functions in the body and is vital for heart function. Arrhythmia's cause cardiac arrest and most of us have sub medical hypothyroidism. I went a bit off topic but I think it's important. We were recently in Kefalonia and I was spending a couple of hours on the beach in just my shorts. If not taking supplements we need full body exposure to get sufficient vitamin D. Actually the second beach down from us in Lourdas is nude. Lots of Germans so they are cool about that. All shapes and sizes, they are confident. I take my supplements with a spoon of linseed oil as some vitamins need fat for absorption so what the doctor in the pink shirt said at the end of the video is important.

Sunshine vitamin or steroid hormone was the most powerful medicine on every living things on earth given by our CREATOR. SUN EXPOSURE The best way to get vitamin D3 is through sun exposure. Go outside and get some sun, especially in the mid-day when it’s the strongest. However, many of us use sun block, which is good for our skin but not so helpful when it comes to the production of vitamin D3. By blocking out the UVA and UVB rays, sun block can interfere the skin’s ability to synthesize vitamin D3. GOD BLESS.

@@franciscoballesteros2059 You didn't read my post. You need to expose your whole body wearing shorts for 1 hour to get sufficient vitamin d. Not feasible in North Atlantic. Maybe in California? Sun block is not good for your skin. It is made from chemicals that are endocrine disruptors and carcinogenics. The sun is probably safer. Like I said. We have limited exposure to sun in North Atlantic so many of us take supplements. Have you heard of a condition called SAD ?

JusticeNature D3 is considered the best. food has such small amounts of D. Sun is king but D3 is queen. you cant go wrong with both D and sun. or megadose with D. ive heard doctors prescribe 50000- 100000 IU a day for a few days then 10000 a day

They say 'D' but when it comes down to it they really mean D3. D3 is the most 'bio-available' version.
