I am seriously jealous. My first car was orange but when I ordered my Vitilan e-bike orange was not yet offered. I wanted an e-bike not to look like a motorcycle and just look fun. Orange is so cool and just looks like fun.

flashy :)! How has it been? Is it really necessary to have 63lbs of bulk or is simple 20lB normal bicycle more worth it - and get in shape loose weight and build massive legs. I am on the fence. 6 mile daily commute (round trip) with some moderate hills.

Vitilan has a US based warehouse in California which is why we can get their products quickly. They must not have a European presence for the shipping to take so long. We have a Lectric XP2 with a 500 watt motor and my Vitilan V3 has a 750 watt motor and I definitely notice the difference in power.

I am pretty sure the seat post is a standard size. Their website says it is 33.9 x 539mm x 2.5T, I would check their web store to see if they have one. Their prices for parts and accessories are fairly cheap. Hope this helps

Mine was delivered by a regular UPS Brown van. I was not given the opportunity to select signature requirements upon checkout. However, when Vitilan provides the shipping ID after checkout, you can go to the UPS website and request UPS hold the package at their facility to pick it up yourself. You can also have it delivered to a neighbor, re-direct it to another address or schedule the delivery for another day that you may be home.

That is exactly why I got the Vitilan ebike. The wider tires and mag style wheels were a big factor for me as well. We have a Lectric xp 2.0 as well and it is a good bike but when you compare the specs I think the Vitilan just has better components.

We live in a small Ohio town and our neighborhood roads are pretty good. We don't have any dirt roads that I know of since we get a LOT of snow and rain.

Yes, it is a fairly standard display that is used on a lot of ebikes. It has made by Yolintech (or more commonly - Yolin). The model is YL80C. Looking at the user manual there seems to be a lot of customization you could try out.

I received the bike around the first of April, 2022. You are right, Vitilan has added turn signals and a horn which mine does not have. They have also changed the front headlight which looks nicer. Not long after I got mine, Vitilan started offering an orange colored model. I have been impressed that Vitilan keeps updating their bikes with quality components. The bag I got off of Amazon. @@noworriesrving3743 do you know the size of the seat post? I want to replace it with a suspension post. They make a lot of difference! They usually have it on the base of the post. Also, where are you seeing the turn signals on the new ones? I haven't found that ad I guess. Thank you for the info.

@@dustine4184 I found this on their website. The seat post size is 33.9 x 530mm x 2.5T. I am pretty sure it is a standard size and it does have a shim. The post just says 33.9. I am having a hard time getting to their website but I think it is my PC and its security settings. The current Vitilan V3 on Amazon shows a turn signal switch on the handlebars and it says it has turn signals. I suppose they might come in handy if you are driving it in a city environment.

it's a little bicycle.....they have bells! lol, maybe by law.?.not sure. Horn is more for a moped or motorcycle.

Yes it does. Those could be important features if riding in a urban environment. BTW, it has been a year since I got the bike and I am still loving it. No issues so far.

Great point! The battery does weigh 8 lbs. A secondary benefit is that you would probably be better off charging it outside the bike due to heat considerations. Thanks for commenting!

Before I bought the bike I asked several questions and they were answered the next day. I have not needed any service or parts since I bought the bike. I have seen others who mentioned that they had a problem and the company responded by shipping a part the next day. I bought from Vitilan because they have a US based warehouse they ship bikes and parts from. I assume you are in the US yourself. Remember that the parts are pretty standard and I bet you can get most any part you may need from Amazon or another bike company id you had to.

I was able to get it to 28mph on a level city street pedaling as fast as I could, using PAS 4, and in gear 5. It was not windy. I weigh 285 and am 6'3". The bike was straight out of the box and I was relying on the bike display to measure my speed. At that PAS and gear I was "ghost pedaling" meaning I had no resistance while pedaling. The only way I think I could reach 32mph would be to change the freewheel and then use PAS 5 and gear 6 or 7. We also have a Lectric 2.0 and I could only get it to 24mph in similar conditions. Hope this helps.

@@noworriesrving3743 mmm..funny..I have the lectric 2.0 and when I first got it I was able to get it upto 28 mph on flat ground but seems like I can only get it to 24-25 on flat and 28+ only when I go down hill...so another question for ya...someone's supposed to buy my 2.0 off of me and I was gona upgrade to the vitilan v3 since I can get it for 1100 on Amazon after the coupon...so my ? Is if it was you...would u keep ur 2.0 with 2300 miles or sell and buy a brand new v3?

I was able to hit 33.7mph on a straight away. I am 6'4" 195 using PAS 5 in gear 5. I can easily hit 28mph using PAS 3

I agree totally about the mudguards being a little small. They are just big enough to keep things from splashing up. I would prefer they be made from metal or aluminum, too instead of plastic. I have been looking for some metal ones on Amazon without much luck so far.
