4 жыл бұрын2020 Vitpilen 701 revisited. Is it as good as I remember? Yes and no.
It was a blast getting reacquainted with the Vitpilen 701. It's just as light and nimble as I remember it being but it can be a bit picky about where and how it makes its power. For a big single cylinder it's much smoother than a lot of its predecessors but it still manages to maintain that thumper charm.

Ooh always fancied one of these. Nice blue as well. Just started listening to you and Bob on the old podcast. Good for when I'm decorating the house during lockdown.

@@RarefiedRoad you guys should do a meet up. I met Bob at Boxhill years ago when he was just starting out. Do you think you will get to TMF level? He's doing very well, but it's his full time job 😁

It would be nice to get to that level. It's a while off for me I reckon sadly but you never know.

I'd really like to try the svartpillen. The vitpillen looks way too uncomfortable.

It's good for an indicated 129mph . From experience on a closed circuit obviously... 😉

The lack of a proper dashboard is the only negative I would give this bike. It looks like some cheap timer you use when you boil eggs.

The engine is wonderful as long as the revs are high enough. So punchy. Not so good at low revs around town traffic.

I've never been a fan of the looks of the Vitpilen, am sure it is a great bike, but the styling does nothing for me

Another 701 video. I watched one earlier. I have come around to liking this more than the Svartpilen. The handlebars look good. And they're not too low. I still prefer the Duke 690.
