Vladislav Artemiev is dubbed as the next big thing from the Russian chess. He has already fulfilled his promise to a big extent by reaching an Elo of 2750+ in classical chess. His opponent Nihal Sarin, is one of the most talented youngsters from Indian chess. Nihal is moving towards becoming one of the best players in the world and has constantly been above 2600 for over a year now and is closing in on 2700 mark in blitz chess.

2. b3 is a pretty rare move that his opponent obviously prepared for. Nihal probably wasn’t expecting it so he wasn’t very prepared for it and he had to take a moment to decide how to best deal with his opponents preparation

0:49 Just a general knowledge question. Is it allowed to adjust other pieces while its your move? Because technically you're holding them and when you touch a piece, you have to play that only, no? Although it makes no sense to object as it was clear that Nihal was only adjusting but technically Artemiev could have?

It's a digital board so that the arbiter or commentators can see what moves they play on the board by looking at the projector on the screen.

@00:50 , I have seen in Nihal's multiple games , he has a bad habit of touching the pieces before he makes a move. This will go terribly wrong if he plays with Inarkiev in future.

Suj K he did the same thing against Nepo, at some point there will be a GM that complains to an arbiter because of this. I am a bit surprised that he is a GM but he doesn’t know this rule, maybe he has forgotten it or something.

Can any1 tell me at 0:51...Nihal was adjusting the pieces of pawn,knight but actually MOVED BISHOP Later..... Is thir unfair??? Bcz he has done d same against Nepo where he won and i saw Nepo's reaction? A player has to say that he is adjusting right? Can any1 shed a light on this?
