In this full-length interview, BMX filmer Chris Long talks about merging his love for riding bikes with film, meeting Adam22 back when very few people knew who they were in Los Angeles, and the interesting origin story behind No Jumper. He also shares how working with Adam22 eventually led to him meeting up-and-coming rappers like Trippie Redd and Juice WRLD.
As the conversation continues, the Boston native shares some revealing details about the friendship that he developed with Juice WRLD and the way in which his proclivity for filmmaking eventually led to him becoming the late rapper's assistant. Lastly, he talks about Juice WRLD's competitive nature as a recording artist, his sensitivities as a human being, his collaborative effort with Eminem, and his battle against drug addiction in the days leading up to his untimely death.

Liesss he’s fake asf and lying on the whole situation just like everyone else involved. No one around him was good for him and his constant lies painting juice as a beyond help drug head while he literally has videos saved of him taking percs and other drugs right next to juice. This is the type of interview that the doc about Juice was missing. I really enjoyed seeing all the videos of Juice, but a lot of clarification I felt was needed. I know we all had some questions about situations we saw. The doc could have been like 2 parts, where the 2nd part was more interviews and people sharing stories (the burnt pizza story was funny).

I’m 45 yrs old and when juice passed away I cried like a baby !! He was so just happy goofing around he cracked me up when ya watched him and if you were in a bad mood he would make ya laugh just being goofy . It would put you in a good mood automatic !! His music hit home sooooooo much and the emotions in his music was felt by all the fuck ups like myself. Man if you could wear a song out by streaming it I would have wore out most of his songs !! God he was so good I mean come on I’m a 45 yr old white guy from the backwoods who used to listen mainly to country music and his music was so good hit the thoughts and things I’ve struggled with but a black kid from Chicago was easily able to suck this old white guy straight into his music to the point it was all I listened to or watch his vids . When he died I couldn’t believe it I was so mad and sad I fucking hate it !!! Made me cry multiple times and man it’s just not fair !! He was such a good man to he wasn’t a pc of shit he took care of everyone around him he didn’t care what color you are , he had a mix of black friends white friends , it didn’t matter one bit and not a ounce of racism stigmata in him and I loved that about him because it reminded me of me and how that could help influence more people to be like him !! God bless juice you’ll be missed forever

Appreciate this interview so much. The doc was cool, but this man speaking about his best friend really humanized J. He loved hard and real, and was loved that same way back. Hearing about how he didn’t roll like “normal rappers and just kept it chill, surrounded by friends doing what he loved to do brought that part of the doc to life. It’s these things that we missed hearing. We “saw it” but Chris brought it to life. ♥️🏍💭

i understand him wishing the documentary wasn’t so focused on his drug use especially being his best friend but i can say i’m soo happy it was and i bet a lot of people can relate to this as well. i related to it a lot, i didn’t think it would effect me like it did but i cry everytime i watch it because i see myself the entire time because of the drug use and it made me just want to be better and do better. it was like seeing myself from an outside perspective which i needed. everytime i listen to juice now i feel a connection to his music so much more than i ever have. i yell his lyrics everytime i play his music bc of the way i relate to what he says and what he went through. the documentary genuinely helped me in so many ways and the way it’s helped me with sobriety is more than anything or anyone else has. it really makes me and many other people feel less alone and will continue to save ppls lives. he’s changed and helped people in an insane amount of ways and that documentary was what i needed to see and will forever hold a place in my heart along w his music.

First thing is to stop making excuses. Yes life is hard and all the mental shit can get overwhelming. You either want to quit or not. If no do your best to manage it and don't let it get in the way of being there for your family. If you do want to quit stop making excuses and start taking action. It's as simple and hard as that.

People just treat those struggling with addiction so badly. The cops just sound like jerks. Addiction doesn’t favor the rich or the poor. It doesn’t care what race you are or religion. Addiction isn’t just for “bad guys”. It grabs hold of mothers, fathers, brothers, sister, friends, kids… treat those struggling with addiction like people because that’s exactly who they are, people.
@jennchristian5759
@jennchristian5759 2 жыл бұрын
@Cali Red I totally agree ! Except for the statement “Addiction doesn’t favor the rich or the poor”. I disagree with no disrespect but, those cops, judges, mayors etc that are “jerks” are rich. Rich family can afford to put their loved one, family member in a rehabilitation program instead of a state program. There is a big difference… the rich can afford the most innovative solution to help their loved ones. Also, poor people that have addiction issues may not have any family and may live on the street. I could go on and on. I know several rich judges that get away with doing drugs….it’s so sickening but my opinion is it’s totally different from the rich and the poor. That is my opinion from what I have observed around me.

I think it's about time that America starts taking this serious. Stop treating drug addiction as a criminal offense and start treating it like the public health crisis it actually is. Being an addict is an awful human condition that is one of the heaviest burdens that humans can endure, but never should it be a crime.
