--------
Dominick Cicale detailed how he rose in the ranks to become a made man and captain for the Bonanno family. He explained how he got into selling drugs at a young age before a shooting led to his first stint in prison. Throughout the interview, Cicale broke down mafia and prison politics, including how he became affiliated with the Bonannos despite being originally connected to the Genovese. Cicale talked about the value and perks members enjoy for being top earners, as well as how he ran his crew. However, Cicale also offered insight into the case that sent him to prison the last time and all of the betrayal and deceit that occurred. To hear more of Dominick Cicale's street tales, check out the full interview above.

To be fair a lot of it is to give some context to the audience, like an assumption that the viewer doesn’t know anything about the lifestyle. It’s pretty common in interviews to state the obvious and then allow the interview subject to elaborate.

Not a big fan of vlad but he’s providing context as well as making sure what he’s saying is correct in doms eyes. He’s not telling him how the mafia works, he’s telling him so don can either agree or correct him based on his views of the life. That’s how interviewing works kiddo. 🤦‍♂️ You ask questions and dig deep. Otherwise it isn’t entertaining.

Whereas the American mafia makes interesting listening, I spent many years in Palermo, and it is like a playgroup in comparison. These days the N’drangheta is replacing them, and they are not what they once were,, but the solemnity of the real mafias is a completely different world. The influence of the US mafia is also still very prevalent. Interesting story though.

I’m usually tough on Dom but on his last live I told him he killed this. He’s comes across as a young entrepreneur that just happens to kill people.😂

I grew up in Pelham Bay Bronx (where Dom is from). It used to be an Italian neighborhood now its mostly hispanic. Vinny Basciano was a stand up guy and his kids went to school with me. Because of Dom's testimony, Vinny is doing life in prison. Time after time, there is no loyalty in gang life in modern America. This kind of stuff does not happen in other countries, but that is the American system.

Vinny purposely got dom arrested come on now he knew saying that in a micd up room would make that happen. He prob made a deal the mancuso to take all of doms stuff and divvy it up so vinny could give his family money. You following me. And that was doms only real way to get back at him was to flip

There was no loyalty from the jump. Why did vinny make dom acting captain right away? Prob so he would be the fall guy. In my opinion he used dom the whole time

Lol out of all the Mafia dudes I’ve seen interviewed this dude is the guy I would have expected the least to be in the mafia. It’s insane to think you could have a conversation with him, and think he’s just a normal guy, but really your sitting next to a criminal genius and he can lure you into whatever he wants probably.
