2 things I take from this interview: 1. Jake isn’t as dumb as I thought he didn’t call gangsta Williams a 🐀 or even mention his cooperation because he knows gangsta has a big enough platform that if he mentions the things these smaller platforms have brought out against Jake he would be done. 2. He mentions being in an adult prison like he wasn’t still on the youth offender side and he was only there in population for a few months and he stayed in the reception unit the whole time because his transfer was the result of a handwritten protection request from Jake himself.

He got a sentenced to 20 years initially on a federal cce charge. He then got a life sentence for facilitating of murder so it was life plus 20 years. He got resentence & just got life. He reached out to a retired detective & was granted immunity for closing the 40 + murders & part of that he had to speak to some of the families. In November of 2014 Trump has the first step created. The following year they made it retroactive meaning it allowed federal inmates to be resentenced. Because of his assistance in closing the homicides, the state wrote a recommendation letter for him to the federal judges & he was giving a “rule 35” for his assistance which was received as favorable for him to be resentenced under the first step act & he received time served for the 23 years & 10 months he did & was released.
