I'm off to download it now so i can listen to it on my 3 hr car ride mañana to go pick up a 1960s French-copycat of the Delta Rockwell 14" metal/wood bandsaw, in Orléans (yeah !) April : awesome, y'all ladies rock ! Improvisation : That IS absolutely a style, one of the hardest ones I think, but probably a very intensely fulfilling way to go. Me like and respect. Movie : i'll add it to the list, not watching much these days, but nevermind... Keep on trucking !

In my mind, Crimson Peak is an average movie, but the whole movie's atmosphere, architecture, set design, costume design, creature design are really all top notch! Thanks for pointing out the DVD's BTS, gotta check it out soon.

Hi Laura - I have been watching your videos and just listened to the Brainpick - I really like your design and build philosophy. There's one thing that I picked up from a couple of your videos that I wanted to comment on - your statement that mistakes get made and we sometimes f**k up, but there's no use in getting mad about it, just move on. I agree completely, but it's so hard to do (without a lot of vodka). When I build, the "thing" becomes "me", and the investment is huge no matter how small the project. I HATE it when frustration gets in the way of the Zen of building... I try hard to practice what you preach. Good luck.

I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth yet but I have a dvd copy. Pacific Rim was a great movie.

Sorry to nitpick. You feel like you're going to be a useful contributor to KZfaq and I love what you've done so far. Oh god I feel so old...... Don't drive and video at the same time. Attentional loads are more demanding than people think. Sorry. it does work well on the video though. Have a fun trip.
