Vlog 3. Staying in the psychiatric hospital :)

I went away for a while to get some more intensive, professional help with my mental health. I didn't film a lot while in the hospital but there's bits and bobs. Much love.

With regards to the suicidal thoughts, in my experience, they become a lot easier to ignore/ not as intense, the more resilient you become. I’m only 21, but 2 years ago, they would overwhelm me so much, but I’ve become so much better at dealing with them. And I don’t even get them as frequently. Really proud of you, you’re absolutely bossing it and taking control of your condition is amazing to see. Sending love and solidarity❤️❤️❤️

I love you Fuhzz. I struggle with BPD too and I know not a lot of people will ever understand what it’s like to live with this diagnosis but I do and I’m here with you. I stand with you, I see you, I hear you and I am so grateful that regardless of everything you feel/experience on a daily basis, you’re still here. It shows how resilient and strong you truly are. We won’t let this beat us! No matter how difficult it gets. You’re so special even though you may not feel like it sometimes. Proud of you always. Love from your fellow filipina 🥰❤️ xx

thank u for sharing your experience of going to a psychiatric hospital, Ive been admitted many times and feel like it makes me less worthy than neurotypical ppl but it doesnt! just an illness xxx also wish nhs mental health was as good as this haha my experience was v traumatic

I wish I could get some mental health care like this. The only way I can get in house care is by attempting suicide or saying I will. When I don’t want to do either but it’s literally on my mind daily which isn’t okay either.

That's a horrible situation to be in, and I really feel for you. I never write you tube comments, so this is weird for me... I wanted to let you know about Shout, a UK text messaging service you can use when you're struggling to cope; I've used it a few times, and am so relieved to have someone to communicate with in the middle of the night when everyone's asleep and I have no-one to talk to. I'm not sure about other countries, but I'm sure there are similar services you could use that facilitate the same thing? I know that this is absolutely no replacement for therapy/ in home care/ general treatment, but this service really helps me when I get into a state that I just can't get out of. I hope things are getting better for you!

hi fuhzz :) I'm so glad you are doing better and feel good at the institution !!! keep going, you are loved from everywhere :) i was also wondering if they said anything about the little Christmas lights because often they would not allow things such as shoelaces or similar objects in case patients would use them to harm themselves

Where is the light projector from?:) so beautiful & speaking as somebody who’s been hospitalized various times, it’s all quite a complex, roller coaster, nonetheless quite beautiful experiences and the people you meet!!
