Efren Reyes vs The Texas Tornado Vivian Villarreal
This is day one of the Efren Reyes Challenge presented by Fada Vlogs.
On the first day, May 12th of 2018, Efren will be playing Lil Mike in One Pocket on a race to a 5 games set.
On day two, May 13th of 2018, Efren played Mad Max Eberle in 8 Ball on a race to a 11 games set.
On day three, May 14th of 2018, Efren will be playing the Texas Tornado, Vivian Villarreal in 9 ball on a race to a 11 games set.
Winner receives $2K cash!!!
After the match, there is bonus footages that shows people challenging Efren Reyes for $20 a game. Efren also signs autographs for people.

Asian Culture Day
I want to educate you on a monumental event that's happening in the great city of Las Vegas.
Last year, the Senate passed a bill, which was signed off by Nevada's governor Brian Sandoval, proclaiming May 18th as Asian Culture Day here in the state of Nevada.

I think some of his misses here are deliberate so people will still challenge him. From a documentary I've watched, he was a hustler on his teen days, as he dominates tournaments on amateur levels his name got ban from tournaments. He entered using a different name.

It's likely in some cases, but it's also true that his vision now is poor, and probably some of his muscle coordination. At this age we all lose quite a lot of what God gave us.

Yes! Thank you for marking them. And Efren even stands there waiting for the result in 49:30. You can see from the way he aimed at the red ball that it was meant to be used to drive the cue ball into the side of the green ball clearly to then drive the 9-ball in. Absolutely magical!

Efren Reyes was a far more consistent player in his younger days. Now at his retirement age, he can still outwit professionals who are far younger. Even at the ripe old age of 60 plus, he can still sparkle with brilliant magical shots! It is sad that we never saw his peak in his twenties as he only came to the USA in his thirties.

I think his peak was from 30-40. That's when he's a complete package, skills, knowledge, experience, etc.

@@zzzthaoster In an interview he said that he used to be better in the 70s, which considering his skills later means he never missed a shot and had killer breaks. Then he had to quit for 5 to 10 years and played other cue games. I don't remember the details.

After see Efren Miss a simple shot at close range on the nine ball in the corner in game four , it was obvious he was giving his opponent some chances to win a game whenever he wanted to .

Vivian did not play her best game, especially towards the end of the match, but her play can still be instructive in how good players make simple mistakes that cost them games. She blew multiple winning opportunities with suboptimal shot selection and positional errors that you won't see from most top-level pros. She can clearly shoot so executional errors I would sum up as not adjusting to the table properly, tightness in the stroke, occasional breakdown in the fundamentals (perhaps due to nerves playing the legendary Magician), and a few other random factors.

I also think that she wasn't going to try to make a big competition out of this. It's all a balance for the benefit of the experience. That's how I would've done it too.

I love how in the 12th rack, Efren caroms the 6 off the 3 to combo the 9 down the rail with pocket speed right after she says he was "lucky lucky lucky" not to scratch on the 2... I mean, does anyone believe he missed a straight in shot by that much and just happens to win the game? That's how you send a message!

First time I saw Vivian Villarreal was at Bill Miller’s drive thru at the corner of Huebner and Babcock. That was like an apparition. The other time was at that billiard place on 410 and Evers. She was practicing a particular shot. The following week I watched her against Janet Lee on ESPN miss that particular shot.

Did you notice that trick shot he tried to make with the 8 ball at the 1:47:57 mark? He called lower left pocket. He was definitely trying to double kiss the 8 ball against the cue ball to go in the lower left pocket. Although he missed it, that was an incredible try.

Vivian after the break called a push shot (You can google what that is). Since the nine ball was at a very easy position for a plant (combination shot), kick shot, or a simple carom, and knowing how Efren is such a natural potter, she decides to pot the nine herself, Since it was a push shot, the nine gets respotted on the spot, giving Efren a "slightly" harder run-out chance.

Check out that shot at 18:40. I think Efren was trying to make the 1 in the corner by loading the cue ball with so much juice that the 1 can jump the gap between the 7 and 9. That's insane. Bombed it, but fluked the 9, though, so it's all g
