Hey Witney, I was one of the winners you chose for the “I love my hair because…” video giveaway about 12 years ago. You were the one who encouraged me to rock my natural hair. When I first did the big chop, I felt like a slave, but I gained confidence when I watched your videos. You poured light into me without you even knowing, so I would like to pour it back into you. I love that you vlogged again! I really appreciated seeing you and the family. You've grown soooo much!! You're an entire,successful, business woman! You are truly blessed. I can tell you are still a very good mother. Your children are beautiful inside and out, just like their mother. I do see the anxiety. I recognize it because I also struggled with it. It took away some of my light. Today it's completely gone! Took me years to get rid of it. I've read books, watched motivational videos, tried drinking alcohol (which made it worse). The only thing that truly cured it was me getting in touch with my spiritual side. Putting the time and energy into praying, asking God questions, and being in a place to receive His answer. My spiritual journey led me to Christ who's the prince of peace. Ever since I made the decision to let go of the control over my own life and let Jesus take the wheel, I've been peaceful, joyous, and free. I even got my light back. I encourage you to explore your spiritual self. There's a lot more to this life than we know. Jesus loves you and I do too. and yes, please do more vlogging videos!! ❤

I remember when you were on a panel with the Shea Moisture founder and hoping the connection would be helpful for you to start your own in some way. You were the reason I confidently walked in to my new natural hair life in 2011 ish… you were there for me when I big chopped and then wondered what to do with my hair besides braiding it. I got on KZfaq and discovered the was a whole “natural hair community” I was so so so thankful, because I was done with relaxers. Oh and Theos voice, whoa!
