Yes. I was behind a young woman with a child who did not have enough money to pay. I felt convicted, knowing what it felt like to be a young mom and gave her the money she needed and the change from the bill. Praise The Lord that I am Blessed enough to Bless others.❤😊

I'm a retired teacher and an able just like you to buy anything that I need. Thank God.. I was I the grocery store and the older lady in front of me didn't have enough money to pay for the stuff. The cashier started taking things out her bags.. I said don't take anything I'll pay.. The cashier was so shocked she thanked me before the lady.. Then the lady smiled at me and kept on thanking me.. I felt so blessed to be able to do such

I love helping people out at times especially when they're short a couple of bucks, usually at a market, it gives me a good feeling. Far as the woman who jumped the line, it's your maturity and age that helped you. There are so many unnecessary KZfaq videos of grown women fighting over silly stuff, even something like what you experienced, this does not have to be. She stepped back in front of you, but the blessing will be yours that for sure.

I so enjoyed your video today. I have lived through hard times and I could relate to not having enough money for groceries. It was devastating to have to put things back because I didn’t have enough money. I made it to the other side. At the time, I didn’t think I would make it. I had a rotator cuff surgery 19 years ago. Do exactly what they tell you to do. Rest yourself and take ALL the great help offered. Peace.

She would say, “Just keep on living baby.” I hope more people see this video. We are so quick to shun and rush our elders in our society. They deserve our time and patience because one day it will be our turn and I hope someone will take the care and time with me as you have done. God bless you.

I know that's right Angela! Having your Mom ,make some extra pies for your freezer :) I pray success for your surgery and a quick healing/recovery. I'm getting my left hip replaced soon. I go for my scheduling appointment on 5/6. I have been living with this intense & annoying pain for over 3 years and I am now mentally ready for surgery. My spirit is fully persuaded that I am already healed, according to God's Word and if surgery is my path to wellness then I'm taking it now.

Loved your vid! Congrats on your 5K Marathon decision, I'm inspired by your energy and wishing you success in meeting your goal and enjoying your daughter! The story about the kids and being a person who gets lost...was funny! I feel your pain! It's funny as we evolve, we often look back and sigh, knowing that we have really grown. I'm so glad you recognized it. Sending prayers on your upcoming surgery and recovery! So glad, your mom is coming to provide comfort and love during your recovery period. Saturdays....were busy days and if my uncle brought us a bushel of corn...we were on the porch, shucking corn! LOL! No bugs bunny......TV shows.

Thanks for sharing. My sense of direction also off. I have and elderly neighbor , who I go to the store with to help her, since she had knee surgery, even took her to therapy when her daughter couldn't get off work. I too thought that it could be my mother, (RIP), and I would want someone to help her.

Thank you for sharing your update. Just so you know I had a surgery recently. I am still recovering. And after my hospital stay I have been worried about everything because I am the one that usually makes sure things get paid. But my daughters have been a great help to me. And my oldest tells me we will find a way. I am so grateful for my 3 girls. They are adults taking care of me right now. But I will be back on my feet soon.

Enjoyed catching up with u on this vlog Ms Angela, 😊 most of us ( I would think ) can relate to some of those life experiences which can on occasion test our patience or can inconvenience our day to day routines.😢But u showed luv with the first more mature lady mentioned n restraint n discipline with the second. It would have been SO..... easy to voice annoyance particularly when someone has an arrogant or an entitled nature. Hope n pray ur surgery goes well. Blessings!! ❤

Great admiration for you and Shadia doing the 5K! Rude people, rude adults -- not raised properly. I doubt the 25 year old Angela would have been really rude, she might have done what I might have done at that age and said, "I thought you had left? Had you asked me to hold your spot, I would have", maybe with a sharp tone and incisive eye. That lady was improperly raised, imho. How lucky you are to have those children across the street! My daughter and the grandies live 150 miles away (even though they visit every other month), it is not the same. But she was in school very far away for years, so I am happy she is in California, at least. My grandson, Gabriel (like your big'un) is 7 and just running around with him exhausts me, so I relate to that anecdote. I think I will look for a park like that here in L.A. We want to go to Universal Studios but for 6 of us, the tab is $900! For one day!! Blessings on your surgery!

@@AngelaMashelle Yes, can you believe it? "Adults" start at age 7 (!) and for the six of us, it is $140 per person, plus tax -- and that does not include any purchases or meals. We are putting it on hold. Seems ridiculous!

I went on a field trip with my daughter 2nd grade class to the national zoo. I was tired. It was 4 kids. One was a runner and nose bleeder. It was a beautiful day.

yep, we're from same era so Saturday morning was thoroughly clean day i hope you're not offended, but arboretum is pronounced " ar-bo-REE-tum" i'm working on being more sheeplike (mild) so the TEST you were given with the lady in line would've challenged me... not that i'd be violent, but i don't think i'm at the point to just say "yes ma'am".... so thank you for setting that example

You are a caring soul. I bet that older woman reguraly pulls that "senior card" scam on gentle souls like you. She's probably there every week having strangers buy stuff for her! 😄 I suggest that 53 year old Angela stop enabling rude older people like the woman in the 2nd story. When you allow that behavior, you leave people like me to educate them because you've allowed them to think that behavior will be tolerated.

I think most people are kind I see it daily but I must say the ones who have no manners unfortunately still exist I find that I appreciate the difference and always remind myself that they are the minority and not worth any energy
