snow boots and hiking boots are useful, but actually there are winter shoes and - boots, which are better alternatives in most situations. Hiking boots in general are not warm enough. Snow boots are uncomfortable in many situations. People usually have a selection of shoes and boots for different needs, weather and activity.

In Finland foreign grocery shops like Lidl exist, but local Finnish shop groups are here bigger players having much more variety in their stores and also have also some cheap grocery brands competing with stores like Lidl. Lidl isn't in general cheaper, but it depends on what products you buy.
