This is a day-in-the-life vlog -- featuring my knee surgery (finally!), an update on Street Man, and some new home decor. It’s been 3 months since I tore my medial meniscus and its felt like such a long buildup waiting for surgery. I first spent about 2 weeks just limping around on it, assuming it would go away. Then by the time we figured out what was going on, it was hard to schedule and it just has felt like a bit of waiting. Ultimately, on the spectrum of medical curve balls, this knee situation is an easy one - and im thankful for that. There’s a clear treatment, which is very effective and i should be back to full capacity in a matter of weeks. At the same time, it’s been a humbling experience to reconsider all the privileges of health and ability that i take for granted every day. It won’t be the last time i experience some health related compromise in life - and my big takeaway is that i hope to do a better job of appreciating my health until then.
