You get an A for this content. Why. Because you showed us places undiscovered the Kongo river where it merges with the beach. I have never seen this part of Kenya. The beach is beautiful and the area is paradise. And the 1000yr old mosque. So much potential in Kenya. Kenya should be getting 10m plus visitors a year with all it has. Kenya has more attractions than the leading tourist destinations of the world. Well made video. Kudos

Diani Beach stretches all the way from tiwi diani, ukunda diani going southwards to shimoni, reason being the best beach in the continent due to its blend with the natural forests giving a tropical climate experience

Diani Beach is a beach resort in Kenya, located 30 km (19 mi) south of Mombasa. Diani has a population of around 100,000 inhabitants and is famous for its white sand beaches, blue ocean and surfing. The beach is popular for relaxing resorts which are popular with honeymooners, backpackers and families on holiday.

Been in Papillon lagoon reef on Diani 13 visits. Love,love kenya. re safe to travel in. People very nice.matatu taxi are safe hot staff in Pailton Lagoon so so kind, polite and helpful, considerate to visitors. OWNERS VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE SUCH STAFF. I ONLY WISH THAT FOREIGN VISITORS WOULD TREAT KENYAN PEOPLE WITH A LOT MORE RESPECT A LOT LOT MORE RESPECT. COS THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST TRYING TO EARN A LIVING. IT IS AN AMAZING PLACE. PLEASE RESPECT THESE PEOPLE. I WAS DUMBFOUNDED WHEN I HEARD PEOPLE STAYING, DISRESPECT THESE NICE HELPFUL PEOPLE AT THE HOTEL. Last Year December we were at the congo beach.That place is so magical.The beach alone can make you wanna stay there.That was also among the beaches that are very finest,clean and with coast guards.its so spectacular when the ocean pours its water into the river.Swimming shifts to the river because of the mass volumes of waters from the ocean.I hope you said Hi to the girl who sells the fried Potatoes.Her blend was so cool

There will be an explosion of development in Diani once the bridges are built connecting south coast and mainland. Mainly the dongu kudu bridge and the Likoni Gate Bridge. I believe there are plans to build another road connecting Diani by road before you get to mombasa . Once these roads and bridges are built Diani will change but hopefully keep its tropical beaches intact. The county should ensure that any beach developments should maintain the tropical nature of the place. No cutting down of trees wantonly to build concrete resorts or apartments on beach land. The developments should blend with the environment thats what makes Kenya beach resorts unique.

@@gabistan2007 We're a third world and money is in short supply. Does that really come as any surprise? It's fairly easy to tour the coast without getting mixed up with the sex. The video does a wonderful job showcasing Diani's beauty and that's what the creator intended. If you'd like her to mention all the negatives, I'd rather she start with bad leadership and corruption before she tackles the sex subject. As people's lives improve that's an industry that will self regulate, I guarantee it. I should add that while that's not why you'd travel there, the millions of tourists before you that did, birthed and sustained the industry. If Kenyan destinations aren't to your exquisite taste, please, we are not the only country in the world. Visit elsewhere.

Diani as a beach has a lot of potential, but they should invite people from Southern Europe, who have enormouw experience and know-how in tourism, to develop at least a part of it into an attractive resort. As it is now - and from the point of view of a Western tourist of course - it lacks the facilities, the bustling atmosphere, the shops, the coffee shops, all what makes a resort a magnet. It is not enough to have nice sand and warm waters. And they should also create a corner with beautiful architecture, what they have now is shacks with corrugated iron everywhere, that is visual pollution and poor taste.

Kannst du bitte deine Erfahrungen schildern? Ich wollte eigentlich im November hin aber finde sehr sehr widersprüchliche Berichte. Die einen schreiben alles toll (könnte durch einheimische sein) die anderen, dass sie teils sogar ausgeraubt wurden und wegen den Beach Boys gar nicht zur Ruhe kamen. Nach dem Motto 1x und nie wieder

They are very similar because they are along the same coastal strip. Though Galu has lesser people

You can stay in a large resort hotel but try walking on the beach hand in hand with the one you love for some quality time together. You get no privacy as you are constantly disturbed by beach boys, men really shouting at you to buy something , then where are from ? which hotel you stay ? and more and more questions. When you are polite and say no thank you, they just ignore you and keep walking and talking to you with no care for your holiday or privacy. So you end up trapped in your hotel grounds looking at a beach you cant walk on. Dini Beach has been like this for some 20 years . Fact ! Vlogs like these will not restore a failing tourist industry but it is time to drop hotels costs and get Diani fully open for all Kenyans on mass who are the new tourists.
