Walking the beach while surf fishing is the only exercise my fat ass gets 😂 The bike is a great idea though! Wider 4" tires will definitely help with stability.

I thought that was you, Benji. I walked right by from my travel trailer with a rod in my hands. The bike is a good idea, seeing some influencers up north taking advantage of e-bikes. Definitely can cover a lot more water. I got skunked on the low tide. Made up for that the next high later on. Keep up the great work, love watching it..

16:00 I know exactly where this trough is! I often start in the same area where you started fishing, and I believe that it’s about a mile and a half to this trough. I remember seeing it at low tide twice, and thinking I had to go back at a high tide. I went back at a higher tide, but conditions weren’t great. It’s going to be a spot I revisit. I do love the first beach a lot, great times there for me, and easy to access. I love it at high tide, since you can cast down into a rip from the sand. No luck at the second beach yet!

That rod has great specs for the Lucky Craft too right? With that setup and the tactical anglers clip you could switch to a weighted offset hook and soft plastic easily 🍻

Try running 10-12 lbs of air in the tires. It will give better traction and stability. The flatter the tire, the wider it gets..

yeah range will take a bigger hit but if your just near by will be fine just dont go too far maybe just go half way of what it can go

Awesome video man, especially show what stuff looks like close up. It helps visual learners like myself. I don’t know what kind of tires you have but you may get more traction on softer sand if you let a little bit of air out. Obviously not sitting on the rims but it will make the tire profile wider. It will use more energy though.

I actually didn't touch the tires out of the box cuz they feel inflated enough so I don't even know how inflated they are haha. I'll have to check em out with a gauge and dial it in a bit. Can't wait to fish with ya soon!

I love that reel but I wish Okuma would get rid of the reverse switch on the bottom. I'm dreading getting salt water in it. I never use the reverse switch. It would also bring down the price. Okuma should definitely concentrate on making that reel a saltwater reel.

Thank you for this question....I didn't even think about the legality so shame on me. Still doing some research and there def seems to be some regulations out there. I can't seem to find anything about riding on the sand. On this day, I did have several life guard trucks pass right by me without saying anything but I know that doesn't mean anything necessarily. I'll find out more before I go out next time.

You have to check the city code, HB are very strict on vehicles on their beach including bicycles. California State beaches do not allow personal vehicles on the sand, Pismo is about the only place you can vehicles on the beach.
