Vlogging in the Burren

My first trip back to Ireland since December 2019. One of the first places I always head for is the Burren, one of my favorite places on earth.
As always, it's a little chit-chat, a little scenery, and, hopefully, a few photos at the end.

I’m from Scotland where we have many high, stony plateaux…..but nothing like the Burren. Great pictures, very unusual country. I’ll be in Boston next month……I’m told it will be a wee bit different from the Gaelic fringe of Europe….!

Lovely vlog Sara, I too have just turned 72 but still love to go wandering alone with my dslr. It keeps us young at heart and photography can be such an soothing past time. Take care

Thank you. I do manage to amuse myself with these projects. I happen to like trains, also, have ridden Amtrak from Boston to LA and back a couple of times. Of course that's when I was afraid to fly, which I had to cure myself of in order to get over to Ireland.

I totally agree the speed limit on these "boreens" are ridiculous...Far too high.and there have been many people fatally killed in road crashes amongst them being the great musician Micho Russell R.I.P.

Yeah, 80 km/hr on tiny little roads that are narrower than roads here on my Island where the speed limit is 35 or 40 mph. It is scary for the first few days but I get used to it pretty quickly and end up joining the pack. I have been home for about two weeks now and I still have to remind myself to stay on the right hand side.
