I hope having a flatmate is a good change for you. And who knows, maybe with the rental income, your relative might change their mind about selling the apartment and you don't need to worry about being homeless anymore.

Love your videos, when I watch/listen to them, I feel less alone. I too suffer from autism, depression and anxiety. Thank you, it takes strength and courage to share your authenticity, realness (rather than the fake glam life), thoughts and real feelings. I too have weaknesses, have to mask often and addictions such as drinking, thank you for your courage for being strong enough to admit your weaknesses. Love your honesty in regard to everyday life and money does matter. Love, from one autistic woman in Australia to another.

Keep going Valourine, sure this person below might have some good advice, but to me it seems really harsh. I personally find your videos extremely relatable and I have shared them with my friends, all of us have similar feelings, maybe not all the time, but often....there are periods in life where when the smallest task is exhausting. You're doing the best you can for now. Unfortunately I am also very poor....as are so many of the people I know in today's world. But I think right now you can benefit from a little treat over the weekend...best wishes, look after yourself, we are on your side (from the UK and NZ ❤).

Also it made me very happy to see you choose peas and plant balls! I'm vegetarian so I love to see people eat plants 😅 I understand your need for meat though.

I'm fascinated that the places in Sydney that we've seen in your videos seem to have mostly Asian people... I'm curious, is Sydney mostly Asian? It looks like you are somewhere like Hong Kong :).

Yes, it is delusional to think drawing a bunch of graphic squiggles and trying to make money off it will help you sustain yourself into old age (I used to run a graphic design business for years so I know the reality of it/ Makes me worry for you. Also, let's not forget the reality: AI will undoubtedly automate/replace most of the generic graphic designer work and businesses will opt for AI. AI can generate the same work in seconds and generate thousands of the same graphic elements). It's a sure-shot destination to poverty and homelessness. Some of the super creative people I know in their 20s/30s are struggling to make ends meet and are already switching careers. Maybe I am being harsh but you are still young in your 40s to re-orient and work your ass off so that the 60-year-old you don't have to suffer. Wake-up calls are harsh and only those who truly wish you well would have the balls to say it. Those commenters who cheer you on and put random heart/smile emojis are not doing you a favour. I can see you can do a lot more to change your life around but it seems as if you're waiting for that change to show up magically. It wont. Even the KZfaqrs with thousands of subscribers are not earning enough. KZfaq and graphic submissions are sideline quests to supplement your main source of income. In this economy, keeping those two as your main is dangerous. It will be too late to turn things around a decade from now but right now you still have the time. All you really need is to take RISKS, real RISKS and believe in yourself to do it well. That's all. Remember, "no job is big or small" It's self-doubt, victim mindset and ego that stand in your way. Trust me, I know those are there to protect you (your brain is in survival mode) but it's also destroying a potential future you could have. The earlier you realise it and break away from its shackles, the better your life will be in the future.

Her therapist has been trying to convince her to get a job and it hasn't been working. Her relatives have been very kind to give her free housing until her 40's. I do not relate to her videos when she complains about potentially giving back her apartment or having to find a flatmate to maintain it as I do not know anyone kind enough in real life to lend an apartment to someone else for decades

@@robodino9446 yeah, you won't get a job if you are after "I want to make lots of money and be a millionaire only making art or doing creative jobs because that's what I am proud of" mindset. I feel she is unwilling to settle down for just any kind of job unless it is super creative and the kind of job she envisions (cos the rest are beneath and not "good enough") or she's afraid of people and it is just the general fear. Like I said, every job is respectable and nothing is above or beneath. As a neurodivergent person, I worked many odd jobs before I landed on a stable one. When you're on the verge of homelessness it's not the right time to pick and choose, it is the harsh truth which does not mean you cannot go after your dreams someday. There are many "rags to riches" stories where people ultimately get there but those folks were willing to get their hands dirty and do some real tough jobs before they got there. They did not have the time or privilege to ponder about life, blame how cruel and unfair the world is constantly, be envious of others and let their physical/mental disabilities get in their way. And yes, I don't know many relatives who would let a family member stay in a place for more than a year or a few months. Also, NOBODY owes anyone anything because it is their property at the end of the day.

Sad thing is I know Valourie will never take critiques or some tough love advice ever because it will only be seen as an "attack" which is why she always ignores them. Trust me, the commenters who posts lovey-dovey word salad wishing you well will be the ones getting a good kick out of seeing you not progress in life because if you do progress, then you'll stop being "relatable" to them. Just go see all the well-wishers some over weight body positivity influencers had. They all left or turned into haters the second those influencers started losing weight and started to become healthy lol. So yeah be mindful. Not everyone who gives you a reality check is your enemy, and not everyone who wishes you well is your friend. Sure you'd have the "but youtube is just a personal diary and I didn't ask for advice" Well, KZfaq is a public platform at the end of the day. You get paid based on the views people give so it comes with your viewers having the free will to share their thoughts. If that isn't your thing you should not be sharing details of your personal life on KZfaq but since you are, it is expected for people to put down their thoughts.

@@whiskeralla3084 ya the not becoming relatable bit is very true... but I guess Autistic people find it hard to see life in grey and only see it as black and white..it's either good or bad and ders no in between..so they will be easily fooled by the "good comments". That's exactly why many autistic people attract the wrong friendships and relationships often cos they get very defensive and angry when anyone tries to give them sensible advice. you r wasting time sharing any advice tbh cos she will most likely think you are the enemy unfortunately. The minute she starts seeing any success in life many of those folks leaving sweet comments will disappear because they are not here to see that. she won't be relatable to them if she finds success
