The Mo Knows Hair deep conditioner is wonderful. The scent is a bit strong, but for the bouncy curls I get, I'll suffer with the scent lol. When I'm in doubt, I pick that deep conditioner. Love it.

I haven’t seen it listed on Sally’s website for months now. Not sure if it’s discontinued or just out of stock. I’ll keep checking.

I used to love Mane Choice leave-ins and deep conditioners until the company was sold and they started reformulating. Obia Naturals and Melanin are staples for me. I haven't found a hard holding gel since Wetline Xtreme was reformulated. I considered jello shot but some say it isn't the same (thinner consistency). I also have issues with the shelf life and refrigeration. I think I will give Ampro gel a try.

I love Oyin Ginger Co-wash. As a moisturizing lotion shampoo Design Essentials is my new favorite instead of Camille Rose sweet ginger shampoo. Thanks for sharing your new favorites.

I am four weeks late but happy to see this video. I see some products currently in my stash that I haven't used yet. I look forward to using the Melanin products, the MC shampoo, and the SSI Okra Mask. I also like using Alikay Natural's Leave-in and the Heavenly Halo DC as well as it's entire line. 😍

Thanks for sharing! I loved this video by the way. My go to staples are the TGIN moisture rich shampoo and Camille rose honey hydrate leave in. I'm a fan of ayurvedic herbs so I always have my diy moringa oil on hand along with diy ayurvedic deep conditioners. My go to cheap gel is the Eco 10x moisturizing olive oil gel and for the more expensive gel I love Curls blueberry bliss jelly. And I can't forget my diy glycerin water to keep my hair moisturized all week. I have fine low porosity hair, so the simpler the products the more my hair loves them!

Yes to the DIY glycerin water! People sleep on glycerin because it can cause your hair to poof, but it definitely will keep your hair moisturized.

I don't have a lot of MC products in my stash but I know eventually that I may have to start looking for replacements due to the reformulations. My hair is too finicky to try the new formulations. So once I go through my bottles/jars of the heavenly halo prepoo and braid out glaze, I am phasing out the line from my stash. Oyin, Camille Rose, and Curl Origin are lines that will always be in my stash. Since I will be doing more protective styling, I'd like to pick up the Canviiy foam that you mentioned. It seems like it would be just what I need. TFS

I used Adwoa and Qhemet a lot this year. I think I am learning my hair likes Adwoa in the cooler months. Qhemet has good products but I believe they have been contributing to forehead acne. Camille Rose cleansing rinse and the mask are staples. I have been attempting to lean on foams more so I am looking forward to that 2022 foam fun from you.

I now use the ecoslay banana cream conditioner as a leave in before using the Jell-O shot. It’s works so well.

❤️ the Jell-O shot. I pair it with Curls Blueberry LI Sarenzo Creamy oil and it last forever. To get fluffy volume I pair with all the above but use Curl Blaze gel before Jell-O shot .Also paired above with Kinky Curly Curling custard as it gives an extremely glossy look. All combos stay fully moisturized with unbelievable definition lasting 7-10 days…… longer but I just feel crazy going that long without washing….. no remoisturizing methods required.Additionally your hair can go from multiple bun styles to loose and free and remain looking like new!!!!!! It just gets softer to touch with crazy definition!

FAVS: Miche Beauty Detox Shampoo and Sculpt Defining Gel and Lavish Leave in. Innersense Hydrating Cream Shampoo and Conditioner (this conditioner works like a deep conditioner for me), Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic, Obia Naturals Curl Enhancing Custard and Curl Moisture Cream(together, they ate magic) beauty WNG, shiny with no frizz. Adwoa Beauty Blue Tanzy and Bioment Deep Conditioners, Both leave ins as well. there may be a few other products here and there however these are my staples. Tried and True. Can’t believe I forgot Jello-Shot and the new Butter cream twisting styler by Echo Slay. At the time of writing this review the photo you see here of me shows the twistout I did a few weeks ago. My best one Ever!!! I was about to give up on the twistouts but my other staples above gives me Beautiful wash and goes.

I don't do wash and gos so I don't use gels anymore but I love the entire Melanin line. Especially that Melanin Shampoo as it gets my scalp completely clean. If I had my way I would only use the Melanin and Adwoa lines. I also have that SheScentIt DC to use next so I'm even more excited after you saying you love it. Camille Rose is kinda getting knocked out by my new favorites especially since Melanin and Adwoa lasts so long.

My natural hair style staple is the melanin hair care line. I just purchased the jello shot after watching your review on it. . I would like to find how I can do a wash and goes and not look crazy after a few hours😆. Plan to pair the jello shot with the Paul Mitchell dupe. When I do straight hair I love Kerastes line in the orange bottle, I believe its for dry or unruly hair- their words😒.

Do you steam your hair after using the Jello shot? Or do you just wash it out? I usually pre-poo my hair with conditioner before I wash. But when I put the conditioner on top of jello shot …. it created a mess. So what’s your way of washing it out? I could just use water.. lol

I wash it out with lots of water and an all purpose shampoo then my usual conditioner without any issues.

Did they change the scent of the Melanin oil? You said it smells flowery. When I bought it, it smelled like spearmint gum. I loved it but I couldn't stand the smell
