First Supercharged 24 Mustang To Go 9s!! | VMP Gen 6 3.0 L for '24 Mustang

In today's video, Justin and Rebecca take you though the journey of taking their '24 Mustang GT with the new VMP Gen 6 3.0 L Supercharger kit to the Drag Strip!
They put a drag radial on the back of this baby and started making hit. The car is completely stock beside the tire, the supercharger, and a little bit of Boostane for safety. Rebecca started off great running some 10s. They were both super excited with the numbers they were making right from the start. Towards the end of the test day Rebecca finally pulled of a 9 second pass with a 9.999. We are so excited with what's to come with this car!

this is the 10 speed auto, im not a car guy but thats the first thing i thought of when i saw your thoughts. i know the "supplier has a Driveshaft and a different clutch plate or whatever they said but.. yeah thats what i thought of. the 10 speed is king???

I know manuals are slower. But manual or nothing. To me way more fun to drive and takes skill to get a good time. Anybody can run a fast time in that auto. Vmp is cool tho justin helped me out alot and i wasnt even his customer at the time.

Manual in this car would be a full second slower, (11.0) no matter how "good" you are. Having said that I would probably get a manual as well, only because I would be at the strip 1-2 times/year and spend 99.9% of the time on the street.

Well depends what race you're going for.. a 1320 race yes manual is slower but a roll race manual wins..

I driven both, the autos really aren’t that much faster. Definitely depends on the person shifting. Grandma ain’t going fast but I most definitely can. The gear box is actually really nice in the new mustang

Ford Performance has a branded whipple supercharger for the s650 on their site. i think i'm going to get that in a couple of months, i like the fact it looks OEM and says Ford Performance on it. There is also a 3yr/36k mile warranty if installed by a ASE master technician.

The Gen4 Coyote in the F150 has a different bolt pattern. The Mustang Gen 4 may be the same.

No Odin is gen 3 new mustangs are gen 4 which is why they partnered with whipple

Pause it at 5:05 and you'll see the tyres off the ground which is pretty impressive for a stock car !! Well stockish car 😅 go fast technology has come so far and so reliable it's just simply amazing that you can go buy a GT Mustang and throw a 3.0lt Whipple on the bad girl set on stickys and hit the strip and run a 9 and even better still we can buy these down here in Australia now 💪🏼🥳

Until custom tuning is a thing that we're capable of doing, there really isn't room or the capability to do anything substantial. That really is the current barrier to further innovation. That being said, we are a one stop shop from sales, consultation, installation, warranty, and eventually tuning. That's what we bring to the table here.

I have a whipple f150 and with 3.73 gears it’s very noticeable against even other whipple trucks with the taller gears.

its not just pump gas, it has octane booster in it. a coyote will not safely make more than 720 whp on pump gas 93.

@@chriscallan2735 yeah the new gen 6 rotor pack is pretty good, just hate that they're telling the masses this can be done with just pump gas. good way to have customers either dissapointed they only made 720, or dissapointed their motor blew up.

You’ll more then likely go mid 9s to even low 9s. Matter of adding e85 and some rear suspension bits you could possibly tap 8s if you’re a driver.

@@nitodiaz8636You’d more than likely be low 10’s. Octane booster isn’t recommended for prolonged use and that’s how they’re making so much power at the track. The chick driving is also very small/light and clearly has track experience. Custom tuning (including an E85 tune) is not yet available for the S650 platform. Only Whipple has tuning access through Ford, but the Whipple tune is only 93 octane (the car can self adjust with octane booster but not ethanol).
