Avi Kaplan, the bearded bass, now has a solo career. Matt Sallee is the bass since 2017. Scott Hoying, baritone, takes the bass notes when Avi (or Matt) is singing. He is the master of riffs. Kirsten Maldonado, mezzo soprano, has been on Broadway, and is a new mother. Beatboxer, cello player, (also nice tenor!) Kevin Olusola, has some solo work you can find. And. . . Mitch Grassie, the alien angel. Natural counter tenor whose notes have left people speechless. (It is called a "MItch-Slap") Any Pentatonix MV or live performance will leave you amazed. Have fun!

Matt Sallee came at the end of 2017 in December recall after they did among other works Imagine and Bohemian Rhapsody with Avi Kaplan.

Pentatonix formed in 2011 to compete in season three of the Sing Off, which they won. Before then, the three main vocalists, Scott, Mitch, and Kirstin, sang together in high school as The Trio. They have and extensive song catalog of both covers and originals. Recommend their Daft Punk (medley) and their original, Love Again for some EDM. Also recommend their 90s Dance Medley with their current bass, Matt.

Fun fact, Avi (second soloist) is the bass. When he takes lead, Scott, (first soloist) takes bass. IMO shows the amazing versatility of both.

Hallo zusammen, finde dieses Zusammenspiel der verschiedenen Charaktere sehr schön und auch sehr emotional. Finde die Gruppe mit ihrem Einfallsreichtum und anderer Interpretation sehr toll und talentiert. Würde mich auch hier freuen die Untertitel einschalten und auf Deutsch schauen zu können, bin für Sprachen leider sehr untalentiert ( Kindererziehung ist dagegen für mich leicht ). Liebe Grüße an alle in der Community von dem German Guy ;-)
