that 'worst' sign of the times on SNL was the first time he had ever performed it live!!!! you could see how disappointed he was with it. and thats also why in the second one he's laughing bc he's so proud that he nailed it. he's also always had breathing/pacing issues! espesh w that wmyb solo, he's singing a lot and running around and then it comes to his solo and he's got no breath left. BUT now he's been performing it solo on his tour and its fantastic. he's improved heaps.

I feel like in many of these "worst and best"-videos they don't even mean bad and good, the 'worst' can be totally amazing and sometimes better than studio versions but it's just because they're not doing high notes or they're not doing the studio version. Avoiding high notes and doing low notes instead does not make it worse it just makes it different.

Devin G Harry sings songs with too high notes he cannot consistently hit. That’s it. When he’s adding tone it’s because he has to strain to push. Go listen to Mariah Carey trying to hit high notes. gets raspy because her voice no longer naturally supports the high belts.

Imme van Gorp oh please. Harry’s high belts are all studio magic meaning he has to be in the perfect condition to belt them. He needs to simmer down and accept that he already can’t hit those high notes all the time. This means he is putting notes in his songs he knows he can’t hit consistently. Not a bad thing but let’s just call it what it is

People need to realize that 1d (and Harry) are touring artists. It's hard to perform like 3 shows a week (or more), it's natural that your voice is tired & worn out. And singers get sick too, in that "worse Infinity" performance he was sick. It just really annoys me sometimes that people call it a “worst vocals” just because they don’t do the high notes???? Like the vocals could still slay, also he was sick in that “infinity worst vocals” so i really think he still slayed that one even tho he had to dodge the high notes :)

mellvdm Considering how good he is in other videos those worse may be called "The worst". Harry is a human just like we all and not always he's gonna sound flawless. It's normal. Even when he's tired or ill he still sounds really good but taking the fact that he has BEST vocals there have to be also his WORST.
