In this live Jimin was really sick and he couldn't sing but he still did it, if you want to listen to harmony I recommend you house of cards their voices sound incredible ,every time I listen to that presentation my skin cramps

the harmonies you heard are live, mostly done by jungkook. ive gone to 5 shows during that tour. they harmonize slightly differently each time but usually jungkook does most of the harmonizing. jimin & v also do some for this song at different concerts.

About this song: The Truth Untold tells the backstory of a fictional flower in the BTS Universe storyline - the Smeraldo. The story is introduced through a blog on Naver (Korean google basically :v) and is a mix between Phantom of The Opera and Beauty and The Beast. In the 15th century, northern Italy, there was a man living in an old castle, all alone. Nothing was confirmed about the man. He didn't open his heart to anyone because he received a lot of hatred and criticism growing up. The only thing he was interested in was caring for his flowers in the garden. One day, a woman snuck into his garden and stole the flowers. The man was furious and guarded the garden the whole night but fell asleep while the woman stole his flowers again. Night after night, the man would pretend to be asleep and watched the woman. After a while, he decided to follow the woman out. He wrapped himself in a cloak and followed her when he found the poor woman making a living out of his flowers. The man wanted to help the woman, he wanted to take care of beautiful flowers with her but he couldn't stand before the woman. He was worried that she would be afraid of his ugly appearance and walk away. The only thing he could do was plant flowers for her. The man decided to create a flower that didn't exist before so the woman could set a higher price. He locked himself inside the castle to create that flower. After multiple failures, he finally made a new flower and filled his garden with it. But that night the woman didn't come. She didn't come for some time until he was worried and went down to the village with his face covered. But the woman had already passed away. Ttu takes a toll on our boys, not an easy song to sing! Sad that you picked this particular performance, as it was a) the end of a gruesome tour schedule and b) Jimin was super sick. Although there is a Tae-Jin harmony in the end which is a treat! There are definitely better live versions. Is it high in the search results? Cause I've seen several reactors using it :(

I'm sure other comments have said the same thing, but this was the concert where Jimin was very sick and super disappointed he couldn't perform as well as he wished. It astounds me that this is what Jimin super unwell with no voice looks like. House of Cards is probably a nice one for harmonies. Also have a nosey at the new release with Coldplay - My Universe, just because it's lovely and has a wholesome message. 😁

Guys, this is not the TTU performance where Jimin was ill. During that performance Jimin literally has to stop singing because it was difficult for him to breath and breaks down on stage. It's possible Jimin was feeling not his best during this one also but the specific "Jimin was sick" performance every talks about is the one I described above, not the one Sam reacted to. Besides Jimin being ill, this song was 22nd on a 27-song setlist. Many of the preceding songs were dance-heavy. I don't know how they survived this concert series. In their docu-series covering these concerts, you will see that, backstage, they were completely exhausted. To be fair to BTS, it would be cool if you would look up the setlist for these Love Yourself concerts, and pick a song earlier on, before they were so tired, to assess. By the way, Jimin has apparently had very little vocal training. Even just recently, he expressed a wish to have vocal lessons, which his schedule is not allowing him to do. It would be so excellent if you could work with him, especially because I believe that his high-register work is something that was required by what the band is trying to present, more than what Jimin is naturally suited to doing, and you are very sensitive to things that could damage a voice, so if you were able to work with him, your knowledge might help protect his future.

This song normally has such beautiful Jin and Jungkook harmonies at some point but in this instance Taehyung was singing instead Jungkook, so it was a bit different, but still nice.
