This song was from season 4 ep 4... Cory's memorial ep was season 5 ep 3... so I'm gonna guess this song was filmed right about a year before he passed... I know it's acting but it's just proof that u never know the struggles people are going through

Okay, one, you should be aware that Chris Colfer won (not just was nominated) won the Golden Globe for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on Glee, mainly bc of his dramatic acting skills. His comedic timing is perfection but for some reason, possibly bc he looks beautiful while doing so, the writing staff seems to like to see him cry so they give him TONS of stuff to cry about. Two, as I’m sure you’re aware, DC & LM are both B’way actors & obviously have the voices to show it. CM was discovered in Canada & CC was 18 when he auditioned for Glee & the mercurial RM liked him so much he developed a role for him specifically that wasn’t in the script originally. His role is a combo of CCs & RMs experience’s while in HS. Kurt comes from the fact that he told the producers he was in The Sound of Music as Kurt (I don’t know when). Hummel came from the color of his skin. Yes, in answer to the Q you didn’t ask. He was my fav actor in the show. Three, I haven’t seen other videos like these and sadly I won’t watch others bc - and I have no idea if this is true for all of your videos - you didn’t allow the audience even one run through of the song without you talking or stopping the song every two seconds. It’s YOUR video and of course, you may do as you like. But as a result of your talking over the entire song - an incredibly sad but beautifully rendered song - you ruined it in the process. At least for me. I assumed (incorrectly) that you would run thru the song, then go back and explain what the actors did right or wrong, depending on your training and how you felt about this particular song. Personally, I feel that it helps the presenter if they are going to talk about a song and get into the personalities of the characters, to be at the point where the song is done (i.e., don’t make this video until you reach season 4) but that’s just a personal belief. And opinion. As I said, it’s your video. However, and I love harmony - especially the way it’s presented in this song - it’s impossible to get into it if you stop the video again and again and again. I might have been interested in the video you described near the end, except that having this song essentially butchered, I’m afraid of seeing anything else that might occur to songs about which I honestly care. I am certain you have much you could teach me. But if it involves mostly just gushing over a song I love so that you can say things like: “oh, so they DO get together!” I think I’ll just give it a pass. 😮😢
