i understand what your point is and i agree. I think Anne is absolutely kicking a** with the emotions and it was acted beautifully, but I can see if she rounded the vowels and put that technique in with the emotion. It could’ve been even better than it was, because the push and pull is written in to the music already if you can just trust that. Also, as someone who loves this song, it doesn’t need to be demonstratively acted necessarily to have all the emotions. And i missed the song soaring and dipping in places. The emotions are right in the music as I’m saying Anne Hathaway did a beautiful job acting this, but I bet if she did all the things that you were saying and pulled back on the emotion like 10% everyone would see that as perfect too and she would still have won the oscar. There is no one way to do it, but there’s a way you could do a little more vocally, less emotionally and it would be even more powerful. I don’t think you were trying to be insulting. You were explaining how vocal technique in the way that it’s written satisfies more ‘acting’ than one would think.

the producer of Taylor swift for years was using the trick of record the voice of Swift in a low key ..if you listen a song in C major .the producer make the arrengement in B flat, so she can perform the recording in smooth way in B flat ..then the engineer . raise the speed to get the key of the song in C.., now with the new softwares available ,is easy to get any recording in different keys, but why the producer is doing that , because T Swift ,is not the singer that can deliver a good high vocal range, how can i prove what i saying? ..just listen all the videos of T.swift live ,a and she does not nail any of her recordings at the same way it was made in the studio..if her fans are happy, that all that matter, that is why she became a billionaire
