This time I reacted to my favorite song from childhood Con Te Partirò. Covered by wonderful Marcelito Pomoy, who I previously made a reaction video about, particularly his cover of The Prayer, which I also used in 2 singers 1 song. I honestly love how amazing his growth is even though he never had any vocal coach or music education.

Marcelito is mostly admired for his humility despite his meteoric success and popularity. His musical prowess is, indeed, God given. He became homeless when he was seven until his early twenties. He was poor, with very little education and never had any formal voice training. He has since gone to school, ventured in business and does a lot of charity work with the love and support of his wife, daughter and adoring fans worldwide. Thank you for recognizing and appreciating his talent.

Very nice crossover version from hard core opera to poppy tune that sounds better on a opera novice ears like mine. The switches is just taking my breath away too while listening. Great reactions Ms. K.👍

The mouth that doesn't open widely is very useful in creating tones, it's like the ability of ventriloquist so that Marcelito can switch quickly with the pitch that is needed.

Love your reaction and analysis. In this performance Marcelito said he's having chest pains due to muscle spasm and was attended by medics in the backstage before his performance. He thought he will not be able to perform. But through prayers, he executed the song perfectly. Please check out his rendition of Power of Love at wish 107.5. Also, check him out at One Magical Night concert singing Never Enough, Perfect and Despacito. Another mind-blowing performance. Stay safe.

Fell in love with this song while I was living in Las Vegas. It was used during a segment of the Bellagio Fountains show [hope it still is] and I was really moved emotionally not only by the song, but by the way they intricately and beautifully wove it perfectly into the fountains' peaks and valleys. Hearing Marcelito's incredible performance brings the same emotions back. BTW, kudos to you for your methodical and knowledgeable analysis that only a professional can render. Thank you! [P.S. I guess the reason why he doesn't open his mouth wide open is to preserve his air in order for him to prepare switching from higher to lower register and vise versa also he looks more comfortable doing that than opening his mouth wide open when needed.
