He is stunning. His control is so pitch perfect and yet so relaxed. Surreal!....btw, he is a native Tagalog speaker. How he masters other languages with perfect diction is yet another talent altogether.

Totally agree with your comment about Marcelito's abilities despite having no training. I can't even imagine what he'd be like if he's given the training!!!

Kitchie Coochy Cook he has grown a lot since his PGT days, probably had that training during those times but it still looks like he can still go another level

@@jaydeleon695 Yes, I'm sure he's received some training from voice coaches and veterans in the field, but still not the super formal sort of training that quite a number of coaches assumed he had when they first watched him. If and when he does, he'd truly be on the level of Andrea Bocelli and others like him...maybe even more. MIND. BLOWN!!!

he did have training- self training. He couldn't afford Vocal coaches, not when you're earning 50 pesos a day($1) tending chickens or selling eggs.

Yes, he's proof positive of what a person can do with grit, passion, commitment and dedication against all odds! The fact that he did pretty much all on his own just amps the recognition and admiration he deserves. There are people who, even when they have all the training/education money can buy, can't even achieve half of what he's attained.

@@jamessegovia8285 The training we are referring to is the kind you get from professionals, which is just not equal to watching and listening, or teaching one's self. Training from a professional means decades of learned knowledge being passed on, doing technical things correctly. Marcelito DID NOT have any training. Yet despite that, he still excelled. He is special.

Actually, many Disney movies have their theme songs covered by Filipino artists to go with the version they screen in the Philippines. Moana's songs are recent examples. So fingers crossed, someone in Disney HQ might decide Marcelito is good enough for the U.S. original song!

personally, it is a God given talent to Marcelito in a perfect time where all people now, in the time of plandemic, watching social media where countless reactions all over the world have the time to watch Marcelito's performances whether on the stage or in the radio.. very inspiring!
