I can't tell you how happy I am to see you reacting to Zhou Shen (sounds like Joe). His English name is Charlie. He is amazing. I really hope you react to more of his work. His voice is indescribable. He is known for his tonal vocal qualities. His ability to manipulate his tone is unmatched. He can sound ethereal like a bell or violin and then he can easily in the next breath switch tones to sound like a completely different person. Its amazing to hear. His voice can put you into a trance or transport you to a different place. He is called a walking CD because he sounds better live than the studio version. Also because his repertoire is extensive. He has recorded over 90 original soundtracks for movies and is in high demand. He is also releasing his second and much anticipated album. He iurs an incredibly humble and funny guy. He is called the Little Prince, a Treasure Boy, and is much loved by his international fandom called Shengmi. A few facts - his voice never changed as a boy and he stopped singing as a teenager since he was often bullied for his voice. Thank God he found the courage to sing again. Zhou (pronounced like Joe) Shen is well worth checking out further. People are suggesting a lot of older performances but his voice just keeps improving and he keeps challenging himself, so it seems a pity to recommend the same stuff they recommended in 2020. Just when I was thinking there wouldn’t be any more reaction videos to this duet. Thank you for a multitude of things! I love first time reactions to Zhou Shen and especially with this song because of that moment of confusion when the reviewer doesn’t know what this “little angel” is capable of. Let me just say it here, ‘he won’t disappoint.’ He has a huge fan base that will definitely show their support. Myself included since discovering him.

There are a lot of great voices and great songs from China. My top favourite is Youth (or Juvenile) from Mira, where she sings about never giving up on your dreams. Outstanding!

You really need to check out Taka from One Ok Rock, a Japanese rock band. He covers Hello and Easy on me from Adele in the original key. :) But I would suggest to try Take what you want from the 2018 Japan dome tour, it will blow your mind. I think he is currently one of the best singers out there hands down.

Oh Sam you are really missing a lot, if you don't check out Chinese singers. Some truly amazing voices. My favourite genre is Rock so Hua Chenyu (Hua Hua, whom you have seen before) is my favourite. But, I have to say Zhou Shen is just so amazing. Check out his "Big Fish", "Dalabengba", and "Heavens Island". Zhou Shen (Charlie) also has lots of English songs in his Repertoire. There is a beautiful video on KZfaq where Katie Sky (who wrote "Monsters") actually REACTS to Zhou Shen singing HER song. She was so impressed, that she then returned the compliment by singing Zhou Shen's "Big Fish" in Mandarin. Zhou Shen has a beautiful version of "Memory".. so much better than Elaine Paige (who I find nasally).
