Honestly I haven’t heard much of anything else that she has sung🤔...sang🤔....but this song resonates on such a deep level. She definitely delivers this song in a powerful way. OMG. Lovely.

From the first time I heard it, it was beautiful. The lyrics were so perfect that I had a real grasp of Harriet Tubman’s escape - across land through day and night, a lone woman, a slave running for her freedom, not knowing who would be friend or foe. It has never lost that initial punch. The back ground vocals are strong. Cynthia Erivo is a gem.

Cynthia Erivo sang BEAUTIFULLY this moving song...a tribute to Miss Harriet's awesome courage, love, commitment and compassion to freedom from the heinous, brutality, criminality, and insane diabolical cruelty of enslavement. Her amazing singing and this soulfully rich performance never fails to bring tears ! Bravo, bravo and major kudos to Miss Erivo and Ms Harriet Tubman , our true shero!!!

I love how Cynthia connects each word with feeling when she sings! You talked about her having an actor's background. She's done Broadway before her cinema debut. I didn't find out about that until today. Lol! I was like, okay NOW I understand. She's amazing! Thank you for your review!

Cynthia's and Janelle Monae's performances were there best. Janelle's was the best opening the Oscar's had in years in my opinion and the excitement was amazing. But, Cynthia had the more beautiful and idk just they were the best in their own ways.

Why interrupt, just listen to it and then react to it after she's done singing! U interrupted a beautiful singer without letting her finish her song!

I mean it is a reaction video??? the whole point of this video is to stop the video and react to it... if that’s a problem just go find the actual video where it’s uninterrupted.
