This dude is really on a whole different level. His range is ridiculous sure but it's not just about that. He's got such amazing control over his voice that only comes from years of practice and study. He's doing things in this video that the top singers in the world would struggle with and he's making it look effortless. In addition to that he's singing in a foreign language, that he does not speak, and doing it better than some native speakers. The word genius gets thrown around a lot these days but there really isn't another that adequately describes the depth of this mans' talent.

Diva dance in his concert? That not realy clear because Dimash did more then one concert. But i think you mean the one from Bastau. Then i advise to also check his Day Break from Bastau because in the singer 2017 he had problems with his voice. And in most Sinful Passion videos there is a foul almost at the end of the song. So here is a link to one without it in 1080p HD, good sound quality and English subs in the settings of the video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/obKods16rc66XZs.html

I'm four years late to this (great) reaction of yours, but let me provide a bit of info on Dimash: Dimash 2023-Vocal range: Growls (vocal fry): G0-G1 Vocal Fry: G#1 - D2 Chest voice: E2-C#5 Mixed voice: D5-C6 Head voice: C#6 - F#6 Whistle: E7-D8 Natural range: E2 - F#6 4.2 octaves *Full range: G0 - D8 7.7 octaves To put it in context: He sings lower than bass in Opera. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note. Total Dimash range is G0-D8. By the way, a D8 is a couple of keys past the end of a piano. Who is Dimash? Only the singer of the millennia. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. His range extends from the top of the bass register to the highest notes of the coloratura soprano and whistle register. His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year. Dimash sings in 14 languages, plays 7+ musical instruments, is a composer, an amazing vocalist, patriot, philanthropist and, despite his popularity and talent, is a very warm and humble person.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan but he is singing in French here, his vocal range is 6 octaves and he has perfect pitch, so this is mild for him, he was only 22 here, he is 25 now. You need to check his other videos, especially the rest of this chinese singing contest. He is classically trained as an opera singer from age 5. He was offered a place with the Kazakh Astana Opera but declined to persue his own amazing career. He is big in Kazakhstan and now becoming a superstar throughout the world. It's very deserved as he worked so hard for it. He is a phenomenon. Check out the Gakku concert, he reached a record D8 note, live, outdoors 💖

Thank you for the reaction. Dimash is the only one 6-Octaves man on the planet. You will be blown away by his other performances. You still do not know Dimash... He is the greatest voice on this planet. After Dimash, nobody and nothing remains the same. His absolute perfection will change your world too. In youtube you can find all of his songs with an English translation. Check out his other performances... Adagio. Show must go on. Confessa + Diva dance. Hello. Sinful passion. Daybreak. Opera 2. And many, many more... Enjoy!

Dimash performed this song in China, the 'I Singer' contest. I like that version even better. I think in April 2019, his song 'Love Is Like a Dream' came out. He gives us a solid dose of his baritone voice in that one, as well as the usual Dimash fireworks in high notes. And the drama he injects into the performance is worth remarking upon, as well. It's really gorgeous.

Welcome to the world of Dimash Dears! I hope this was your start of the most wonderful and breathtaking journey music ever offered to us! To make you a little bit curious - this was only a kind of "warm up" in discovering Dimashs further skills, Opera 2, Sinful Passion and Diva Dance would be interesting next steps before you discover the highest note he ever sung on an audience so far in Unforgettable Day from the Gakku-concert... Oh, in my enthusiasm about Dimash I just forgot to thank you for this very nice reaction!

He has studied music from a very young age and won numerous international music championships. 😊Through the program"singer", he became famous in China, held many concerts, and made the world know him. He speaks many languages, sings many ways, and has a range beyond the piano keys. He will give a concert in Russia on March 22 and in Astana on June 26 this year.🎶👏✨

It would be good to see you react to Dimash again, on his more recent performances. He’s so much better now (if that is even possible after this performance!) Olimpico, Passione, Your Love, Love is Like a Dream, Know, Ti Amo Cosi, Ulisse are his more recent songs all composed by the Russian billionaire composer/music mogul Igor Krutoy who usually accompanies Dimash on the piano, where he his the composer of the song.

Hi Freya, Thanks for the informational and educating video. What took you so long. Every song Dimash performs is different and he has a lot more techniques to show to many to list here. Dimash is more than just a vocalist he is a performer and emotional singer with a lot of stage presence . Dimash has all the techniques down pat. Of course Classically trained but Genetics are a funny thing Both Parents are great singer seems like he has both Vocal genes :) Dimash raised the bar for everyone. Like any other activity Usain Bolt in Sprinting, William sister in Tennis and Tiger Woods in Golf. I can practice all my life and not be that great but it will push the top people in that activity to a higher level. Dimash is at the top already The Best need some catching up. Give it 10 years and more capable singerrs will arrive. I hope your not just here to get some advertising time lol Hope to see you again soon enjoyed your analyzing this Vocalist.

This is (IMO) the best performance online of SOS by Dimash (although the earlier version on The Singer is worth watching also). I really appreciated your measured and insightful comments on his performance and technique. Among his other performances, I think you might find Sinful Passion the most interesting from a technical perspective, although his Opera 2 is also really impressive, as is the Bastau version of Diva Dance.

Greetings of Peace Dimash…! And to all the personnel’s who worked with you, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. My gratitude to the reactors worldwide for your great service so that artists can improve and or develop more their talents and gifts in order to serve better the listening public. Dimash, I still browse your music videos from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength you have invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that you have. Indeed it is really a great work. How you were able to develop such a heights of your talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because you sing it by heart, naturally and at your heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, courage, dedication and high ideals in pursuing your singing career to the best of your ability the best you can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope your listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from your optimistic views in pursuing your career, your persistency, courage, creativity and perseverance. Your labors are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to you, to your family and all others who supported you all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the singer and the content of its music. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although all your music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. Actually I have enumerated 10 of your songs with my personal commentary and reflection on it and posted it in KZfaq each of it in different phases because it’s quite lengthy my reflection on it. Of course with due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. For all those who read these reflections and commentaries of mine about this piece of music mostly performed by Dimash. If you think it is helpful for you, for your family and friends you can share it to them as you please, and I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your own personal comments and critics to this commentary and reflection of mine is very much welcome and highly appreciated too. Song of Dimash “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the truth and Realities of Human Life) Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our life’s journey, but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discern well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity or a means of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with great humility and discernment. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are strangers and pilgrims on this earth” St. Paul reminded us that “the sufferings of this present time are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters into us, our nature has been wounded, and we experience suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but it is part of the reality of our human lives now. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we did reconcile with God and at peace with others. Death is the end of our earthly life. Our lives are measured by time, in the course of which we change, grow old and, as with all other living beings on earth. Since it is unknown to all of us the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we prepare at all times, otherwise we are caught by surprise of not being ready when God comes to take us to be with Him forever in our eternal home in bliss. Once again, thank you for your music and service to us. Rest assured of my support with you. God Bless..!. With Gratitude, Ester Rabi, Philippines

Welcome to Dimashstan. Alien? Angel? Possibly. What we do know is he has been studying for many years, his parents are both singers, and he works really hard.
