Wanted to add that this is their first comeback since leaving JYPE at the end of their contracts in 2021 and they now own their trademark (JAY B the leader took care of the legal paperwork)! Finally an album that is 100% them with no out interference of what a label wants from them! Jackson released an album called "Lost & Found" & it is gold. Sure, his other single song "Blow" is insane, kindly react it when you have time.

So I disagree about Jackson sounding pitchy before because he didn’t really sing much before he was mostly rapping on previous tracks. But since the pandemic he said he’s been working on his vocals and his latest solo Blow is a masterpiece both visually and vocally. A lot of dynamics. I haven’t gotten to check out all the songs on the GOT7 latest comeback but I hear Jackson is really showing his growth in vocal dynamics.

Honestly, Jackson has always been able to sing. It's just companies tend to restrict their artists to the roles they provide them. You can check out "Let Me" Switched Parts Ver. They sang that around 2017 and it was sang live coz it was exclusive for their fanmeeting/concert. All rappers had to sing and and most of their vocals had to rap. They can just do title tracks like this now because they’ve got creative freedom :)

You should check out lost and found mixtape that Jackson released recently but produced back in 2019. His vocals have always been fire maturing like wine. It's just he didn't have many opportunities in the group to showcase them.

I think GOT7 could be the best group to use to promote vocal lessons. Only one member, Youngjae, had "natural" singing ability when he became a trainee. He became their main vocalist from the beginning and now more than 8 years after debuting, he still takes vocal lessons because he believes it's a muscle that needs exercising. Jinyoung debuted with Jay B two years before GOT7 as a rapper. He is now considered part of the vocal line. Jackson you know. Before this comeback, Jay B admitted that a new problem he has is with line distribution because the rappers have all become singers. Their most RnB sounding song on the new EP is TWO. You should give it a listen if you haven't already
