She’s so beautiful, saw the movie today and I couldn’t take my eyes off her. The movie was magical. I liked it more than the original and it was one of my favorites growing up. I even liked the new songs more in the movie than when I initially heard the trailer. I love Halle so much and so proud of her, I wanna cry. She gave this her all. Singing this at 3 am, six takes to get different shots, I’ll always support Halle ❤❤❤

As a huge Little Mermaid fan I was scared they’d choose an actress who looked like cartoon Ariel, but couldn’t sing like Jodi Benson. But this girl has a BEAUTIFUL voice that’s SO princessy. She feels like Ariel to me. 🥰 Can’t wait to see the movie!

I didn’t think I would get so emotional in the theater but those vocals took me to outer space 😂 I felt like a little girl and a proud mom sitting there squeezing hands with my 7 year old 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 10/10 for Jodi’s original and 10/10 for the new Halle version….BRAVO!!

The shock and confusion on the "Above" was my face the first 1000 times i listened to her. I didn't even want to see the movie. initially I saw it on my birthday and my jaw hit the floor in the theatre. IMMEDIATELY downloaded the sound track. I live for her "stand", "above" and the last "be."
