Most of the artists who come to perform here in the Philippines always end up taking off their in-ears while singing 🤣 fan chants is not a thing here coz we sing the WHOLE SONG for the artist 😅 it's a common saying that "we are having the concert for the artist" 🤣🤣🤣

as a Kpop stan, it's actually widely known that Filipino crowds DON'T SING FAN CHANTS, we sing the WHOLE SONG whatever language it may be. We'd memorize the whole set list without knowing the meaning of the lyrics. And this is why filipino #EXO fans who have extra budget would usually go to the nieghboring countries to watch the concert of EXO just to hear their famous live vocals more clearly.

In the philippines, you just need to stand infront of the stage.. and we will sing it for you.... proud to be pinoy!!!

if you are an artist, this is how to do a proper concert in the Philippines: 1. Stand or sit on stage. 2. Play your music. 3. Flash the lyrics 4. Enjoy. hehe Basically the Philippines shud be the rest stop for singers. They just let us sing in their concerts haha

That's how we are in the Philippines, we try to memorize maybe not all but most of the songs of the artist and sing along with them, as our way of saying we WELCOME you in our country. By the way, it doesn't matter what language the songs are even if we don't speak the language and most of the time we don't even understand the language but we learned and sing it anyway, that's one of the ways of making you feel welcome and appreciated. Also even if the visiting artist are not so popular, we make them feel like a rockstar, once they come to the philippines. I just wish when our artist goes to some other country they too, will experience being appreciated and feel welcome by them, whichever country they may be. 😊😊

As a Filipino who have not watched a concert overseas was surprised that singing along in concert is not a thing in foreign lands.

I think that this kind of act from an audience; singing withtout being asked is one of best moment a singer can experience. it's like a recognition, a proof or love. I can't remember the word for it but it's like more important than having a standing ovation. you can just lieterally stand there, hear them sing for you and won't be worried of judgement bec I know in some countries singers who just stood and let the audience sing can face so much criticism for it.

imaging 50+ thousand people singing a song all at the same time at the biggest arena in the world must be the craziest experience ever, with all the acoustics and echos...that i gotta experience

It's just normal in the Philippines that every artist when they have their concert in Ph, it usually turns out that the artist seems like they attended the concert with their fans.😊

Yes every concert is like that! Even indie bands would have an audience like that. Doesnt matter if it's a western artist or a Korean artist. We memorize their songs from the heart and it's always an honor to sing with our favorite artists

I remember my first ever KPOP concert here was JAY B's concert from GOT7 last year. I didn't know this energy that this was a thing because personally when I was there, even though it was my first concert, it felt like I have been to concerts before. The energy with my fellow Filipinos was great, I didn't need to memorize the songs before the concert because I know them by heart even though I can't speak the language. So I would say that Filipinos are like this because when we like an artist, no matter who it is, we get really passionate and it manifests during concerts. We usually know everything about our favorite artist that they won't even realize we would keep those things in mind. So when JAY B was singing and he realized we were that into the concert, he actually did say during the concert that he was so happy he went to our country first after his Seoul concert because he loved the energy, he was also amazed and he said we were so passionate. I was so happy and it felt very good to hear that from him because just like it warms their hearts to see their fans be passionate, it also is a big deal for us because we make our artist happy. If they're happy, we're happier. ☺️

I'm surprised the Britney Spears fans singing even outside, post concert, isn't included in this video. that one's INSANE.

To be honest in just simple shows when local bands perform on the stage Pinoys really enjoy singing with the singers and it is really common here anywhere in the Philippines. What more if it is big events they really do so with lots of fun and energy.

Singing is one of the hobbies of the filipino to ease the hardship of the daily routine.. We sing even just a chorus only. We have LSS ( last song syndrome) the last song we heard we sing it loudly, out of tune and inside our head.. Music is our therapy.. Music our happiness, music is life... 3:23 too answer your question is that if your song is a top hit or at least very close too the top ten top hit that means your song here in the Philippines is very widely known and for example the cōrrs concert last 2023 was very successful and the lead singer or Andrea (i think that's her name?) Was tearing up and was very emotional because people still know her song even though it was a very old song it which is run away has been out for 2 decades and people still sing it too this day...

Filipinos like to sing. When we get hooked on a song we put it on replay. We use karaoke - learn the lyrics. During the 2020 lockdown, most of the youth turned to the internet to sing away the tension and boredom. So when these artists flew in for their concerts, the Filipino crowd was looking forward to having fun (like a block party). Yes, if you have a song that gets played on the radio, Spotify, youtube, or any streaming platform, we WILL sing along. It's more fun that way.
