I’d love for her to do a 10th album but not release it until actual months of vocal retraining so that it’s none of the baby voice but all her natural voice. That’ll be the first thing to shake it up. Second step should be to get back with Max Martin, who has been the main one at the helm for some of her biggest albums and singles. Finally, she needs to be the main producer again, as we’ve only seen twice before (blackout + glory, arguably her two best albums in terms of vocal diversity and variety of sounds) and should definitely happen again here. The world needs to see an album that’s 100% her.

It was confirmed that Myah Marie (the sound-alike) has nothing to do with this song and the AI theories also make no sense BUT I do think some of the vocals might be old. It's definitely an old song that got reworked. I think for now Britney will do collabs with artists she likes to get back into music and her own music will come eventually

At this point, I believe that either a stand-in, or perhaps AI, was used for any updates to the vocals. Not saying we have to see everything celebs do, but we haven't had any footage of anyone in the studio. My favorite part of the song is the choir portion too. People always have expectations from Britney and lose the opportunity to really appreciate what she’s giving us. Yes the song is generic, but it also has some insight how when she says “I am the economy” referencing how she was the one making money for the media, her family, etc. because she’s always followed by paparazzi and her name and image are exploited. Remember when Glory came out? We didn’t appreciate the album back then and let it flop, now looking back the album is genius and it was her most invested project in terms of creativity since Blackout. We also didn’t appreciate her performances during the Glory era when she actually was glowing and giving us energy despite being in the conservatorship. People need to stop putting expectations because we’ll regret it later. Britney seems to be having fun making bops at the moment, but I’m sure when she’s ready she will come out with Blackout 2.0 and showcase her talent and creative intellect in all of it’s entirety. This song is a message for all the haters and entitled people who have been harassing her since she became free. Mind your business and stream the song, or don’t listen. She’s not here to please any of us anymore. She’s here to reclaim her passion and she will do it her way on her terms. Real fans will not make this about themselves and what they feel they’re entitled to from Britney. Again, it’s obviously just for fun and and it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but she’s getting the message across 🫶🏻

For the "b*tch" part. The line "It's Britney B*tch" has been a staple catchphrase incorporated with Britney. Since the release of Gimme more. I think they are just trying to keep the relationship between the B word and Britney.

I agree with your view, it seems like a lazy effort and can tell its an old song, but its a bop and it has grown on me for all the wrong reasons lol

I, too, felt like it was an "old song" when I heard it (reminiscent of "Scream and Shout" that they did a few years back.) It just felt... like a rehash of that, in several ways. I think it's got a great beat and will be remixed to death in (probably) a positive way, but yeah. I feel you on being somewhat underwhelmed. I also wanted to add that I LOVED the more ballad-like stuff Britney's done in the past, such as "Perfume" and "Sometimes" (if we're going that far back.) I wish we could hear some of that now.

Yeah I mean it's fine and we have Pride in my area in a couple of weeks so it will be on repeat for that. But a track like Perfume or Liar or Coup Electrique is something that really eclipses this. I'd love to see her collab with Robyn like when Robyn gave her Piece Of Me. That kind of theme needs to be revisited especially with her upcoming book release. If she's smart she'll do a double release or even an enhanced iBook with embedded videos and audio and archive materials

It's the demo artist myah Marie who is singing the vocals as she's already confirmed it in a short and it's a track that was left off Britney Jean. The demo artist and the producers have done all the work, the only thing britney has done is put her name on it.

I think this was just a buzz single, and Britney just wanted to give something to her fans to hold them over. The song has already created a lot of buzz, which I think was to be expected, and I do think she’ll give us more music eventually. She’s been out of the game for a while, so a lot of people may have forgotten about her and it’s good that she’s slowly easing her way back in because I truly believe it’ll only get better!

I think it is old vocals. However, the song is a bop! As you can see on her IG she is not mentally well and not even promoting this single. We are lucky to get any new music as she said she didn't want to do anything in the entertainment business anymore. Also, just recently she sang on IG and her voice is very damaged. She can absolutely make a comeback but that requires discipline. I don't see it happening in her current state unless she is financially forced to in the future or gets better.
