I personally love this song, but I agree that he needs better diction. Staging is a bit funny too. These are all easy fixes though so I think it’s going to be amazing on the night!

Greetings from Estonia! What a delight to see your reaction Georgina!🥰 Stefani was without a doubt the best in the "Estonian Song" (Eesti Laul 2022) contest this year. He also has roots in Armenia, since his parents are from Armenia and is very loved amongst Estonians. A guy with a very warm heart and down to earth, authentic and joyful attitude 🤗 Thanks for all the support guys, great to hear you like it and really hope to see it in the finals!!

Very charismatic singer with a great voice and real stage presence, catchy chorus & real authentic western sounds. I agree with you , you get drawn to him and to the song. Top Five for me.

Love me some western flair, especially when it comes from the most unexpected places... Great performance and great choice! It will definitely cut through the waist-high campy disco pop clutter and over-wrought balladeers... 12 points from the West! Alberta/Canada!

I love Stefan and his song. Yes his pronouncing needs work, and he said himself that he will work with his English pronouncing. To be perfect for Esc.😊

Well… as I said this is one of my favourites so far. I love the staging, the tone of his voice and the song so much… but… I thought exactly the same as you (about the clarity of his voice) when I first heard it! That was the main reason I was so keen to hear your reaction to it as you’re so experienced. Thank you for posting this 😀

Funny thing with this song is that when you listen it with the lyrics later I can easily understand the words It's like I downloaded the lyrics to my brain without it I had error

He have a very strong voice i agree with you he is a big voice and must be open and he have the power to full up the stage of Eurovision only with his voice....not many signers have this gift. From yesterday he is my favourite voice and song....

Lyrics are quite amazing ( he has them under his video that is btw great) but he just has to enounciate better. Hopefully he will do that but doesn't bother me much, maby because english isn't my 1st language. But since I read them, I can understand him much better. I love the song and his voice.

I don't think the lyrics are the problem, as you said it's the diction which I also feel isn't quite as bad as you say- but i'm probably biased as this is my favourite entry so far!

STEFAN is my number 1 this year. I love the country melody, and I love his voice, and all I wish him is to deliver on stage in May by fixing the little imperfections you point at ! Winning will be difficult because it's quite a strong year, but he's a sure qualifier. Like you say, he has a great charisma. My other favorites are Poland, Australia and The Netherlands.

I LOVE this song and his voice is very good. If he fixes his diction which he can do very easily, he is good

@danielaf14872 жыл бұрын
If he performs it well on the night, I think it'll qualify, yes - because the song has character (no idea why Estonians are making spaghetti Western music now, but I enjoy it all the same!). Stefan's voice is great and he's an appealing performer. No idea how it'll do, though. The low regions of the left-hand side of the scoreboard, maybe?
@sav00012 жыл бұрын
I don't mind the song but I hope he works on his enunciation by May and gets rid of the cliche staging. In the studio version what he is singing about is much clearer.

This video was so cool! I really hope you could also react to Stefan's earlier perforamnces on Eesti Laul. I personally adore the song ,,Laura, (Walk with me)'' a few years ago on Eesti Laul. He didn't win then, but it would be cool to watch your thoughs on it!

Beautiful song and excellent performance, bravo Estonia! Аnd as he said William Saroyan - " I would like to know if there is a force in the world that is capable of destroying this people, this small tribe of modest people, whose wars have all been won and lost, whose state has been completely destroyed, whose literature has not been read, music has not been heard, and prayers are no longer answered. Burn down their houses and churches. And then see if it turns out that they will laugh, sing and offer prayers again, because if at least two of them happen to meet in this world, they will create a new Armenia!"

Something lacking somewhere, a bit too spaghetti western for my taste. Maybe a tweak or Lee Van Cleef with Clint Eastwood on stage would help? not a top10 for me so far. Look forward to live on the night for an improvement

The spaghetti western vibe is intentional and well thought through. I mean, Eurovision takes place in Italy this year, so, it's an ode to Ennio Morricone

His voice sounds nice, yes. But I agree that I couldn't understand anything other than "I Hope" and something about a boy... also being a History major from the U.S., I know that the imagery of the American West seen in movies is total Hollywood propaganda. The real West was a miserable place that shouldn't warrant as much praise as it gets... putting my bias aside, I think he will do well because he's pretty and has a deep voice, and not so much for the lyrical content.

A random question, but where are you from, like what accent are you speaking? I'm not a native speaker, so I'm working on improving my english, including the pronunciation. One thing I realised is I need to stop pronouncing the words the way I want, resulting in a weird mixture of accents. I want to work hard on fully adopting a specific english accent and I realised I love yours the most. Is it Manchester or something? Please answer.

I am estonian and I listened one interview where Stefan said that he should leran more english....he has born in estonia but he has armenian parents, but that shouldnt be a problem because in Eurovision they have subtitles :) I am very happy that we choose Stefan this year because recent songs that our country has sent have been horrible in my opinion , bt we already won Eurovision 1 time so I hope that Lithuania wins this time, cause they havent won Eurovision ever and out Lithuanian brothers sent very good song this year as well ::)
