Toše je definitivno bio jedan od najjačih pjevača Balkana i šire, pa evo i nakon skoro 13 godina ne mogu vjerovati da se dogodilo to što se dogodilo... Da su stvari bile malo drugačije, uvjeren sam da bi sada punio dvorane diljem svijeta i bio poznatiji od najpopularnijih pjevača sadašnje svjetske scene. The best singer in the World! I said it million times. I still whistle and sing his songs when I walk alone and I still cry when I think of him. I live in California for the last ten years, and I still play his songs loud in my car. Both of my kids know his songs and my younger son recognizes his voice in any song although he was born just few months before he passed away. When they were visiting their grandparents in Macedonia they went on his grave and they are talking about that with pride and sadness vishing he is still alive to see him sing alive. Today, just like from time to time I googled his name wishing to see something new, like if he is alive... and... you have wormed my hart man! You have wormed my hart... I am not to say that I was crying during your video and I still am writing this. I am certain that he would be the greatest star in many peoples lives like he is in my music world... I still say that he would show what the real star is, not only with his voice, but with his manners and life style,... he would have been idol to so many kids all around the world like he was and I believe still is for many in our Balkan area. Thank you for sharing this video!

There is a movie about him and I saw it myself! It is the story of his life and career, also how he worked on his last album.To improve his singing, Proeski took classes in New York from maestro William Riley, who was also coach to famous tenor, Luciano Pavarotti. When he returned, Proeski held humanitarian concerts throughout Macedonia. He was awarded with the Mother Teresa Humanitarian Award and in 2003 he became a Regional UNICEF Ambassador.

Po mom skromnom mišljenju i mišljenju mojih dragih prijatelja koji vole muziku, od kojih se neki profesionalno bave muzikom, ovo je najbolje izvođenje ove pesme ikad! Računajući tu i Tošetov studijski snimak a i velikog Aleksandra Sarijevskog! Mislim da je značajnio bilo i to što je odličan gitarista dunuo u leđa Tošetu pa je on poželeo da da sve najbolje od sebe, u čemu je i uspeo! Pokoj ti duši Todore, nedostaješ nam!

When I worked on the coast in Croatia and went to Montenegro,once we listened him singing in the street. Just his voice, late evening, a lot of people around him. Magical. No autotune, no technical stuf. Just his voice. Noone dared to breath or say anything. After he finished singing there was first the silence then an amazongly long aplause. It erupted. And he was like yeah, that's how it should be sang. He was so modest and such a good soul. An Angel

Albanian(from North Macedonia) here: His death hit me like it was a death of my closest relative. I was raised with his music. I even know nearly all his musics both singing and playing them on guitar. He was and is the best there ever was. I still listen to him, and to be sincere, if in the past I was just enjoying his music, today I enjoy and feel sorry at the same time. So humble, so good human being, humanitarian, loved from everyone. A huge loss. God's will was not having him among us anymore, unfortunately. May he rest in peace and may God reward him with heaven. PS. His requiem, Igri bez granici(Igra bez granica) - Playings(Games) without borders is unrepeatable masterpiece.

I remember the day he died as if it was yesterday and yet i was only 7 years old. In school, first grade, early morning, the news came in that Tose has been in a car accident and that he passed away. I remember my teacher bursting in tears, we were even released from school that day. Thats how big of a person he was.

yep same here I was in the first grade we were listening to the radio doing dumb kids shit the news came in, everyone and everything froze. that was the darkest day , i remember everyone crying that's just a day I can't but I'd want to change or forget.

Brate kapa do poda za ovo jer taj covjek je vrijedan da ga svaki balkanac mora spomenuti ako voli nasu muziku... Tose nije bio samo pjevac,bio je jedan primjer covjecanstvu kako izgleda dobar covjek,preko 50% njegove zarade je islo u humanitarne svrhe,spasio je puno zivota.. He died on this day 13 years ago. Wil Malone well reknown musician and producer said his voice is the best voice he has heard since Pavarotti when Pavarotti was in his best days. There is even video of it somewhere on the internet.

I never cried in my life that i remember until Toše died, i was in secondary school as well and heard the news in bus while going home. I just broke down and couldnt explain to my friends and people around me, didnt even bother to try, because i moved to Europe and no one would understand it. His persona and music was like angel came to Earth. I am sure he would have become one of the greatest in the world, sadly only Balkan understands this legend with few exceptional people in other places. His music and many others across ex Yugoslavia made entire Balkan unite despite the politically pushed narrative, and probably will forever. If this guy came to any region in ex Yugoslavia no one would judge his ethnic or religious background not even for a second. Everyone would just shut up and listen, because his presence was too strong.

I had the oportunity to meet him in person. He wrote a title song for a TV series I was filming. One day somebody came to the studio, I didn't know who he was, he was interested how things are working. We talked, I showed him around and he was quite fun, a really nice guy. I just fond it pretty curious how the others from the team were looking. When the guy let somebody came to me and asked how come I speak to him like that. I asked what's the problem, then they told me it was Toše Proeski. Of course, I knew of him, but had no idea it was him. A month later there was the official premiere of the song and at the party he came to me, we had some laughs and a few drinks. He was just a really nice guy. People were curious why he was he talking to me, since I was "just some cinematographer" and he said I was the only person to talk to him as a normal person, not a celebtity. After that I became more interested in his music and found out he was really special, truly one of the best male vocalists, ever. Not just a musician, but a great human being. He has a special place in my heart.

Svaka cast momak! Tose je bio jedan od najjacih svjetskih vokala, i zalosno je sto nas je tako mlad napustio. Bio je prava zvijezda, od izgleda, do glasa! Pjevao je svaku vrstu muzike vrhunski, od roka, popa, etno, opera ( diplomirao je na operu, to mu je bila zelja. da pjeva opere) bukvalno sve, i to na svakome jeziku otpjevao je bolje nego originala, jel je na svakoj pjesmi dodavao je svoju magiju.Svaka cast na ovo sto radis,nastavi da pravis klipove sa Tosinih pjesama na svakome jeziku, jer je stvarno to zasluzio. Kako si vec rekao, da je bio ziv vec bi bio jedan od najpoznatijih svjetskih pjevaca, al nazalost nikad necemo gledati taj film. Bilo bi ljepo da se snimi jedan film o njemu, njegovi zivotni put sa samo 26 godina, sto je sve postigao i ostavio iza sebe a tako mlad. Nadam se da neki reziser snimiti taj film jer je zaista prica koja bi trebala biti na filmu i na taj nacin bi ga dodatno zacuvali u vjecnosti, jer Tose nikad nece umrjeti, on ce uvjek biti balkanska mega zvijezda.

Toše ❤️❤️❤️ Ko sem odkrila Dimasha sem ga nehote primerjala s Tošem. Oba sta čudovita po človeški strani, oba sta izredna talenta in še bi lahko naštevali. Zajdi, zajdi je tako lepa pesem! Res je tudi, da ko si enkrat slišal kako jo zapoje Toše, drugih pevcev skorajda ne moreš več poslušati. Čeprav ga ni več, je zame Toše še vedno eden izmed največjih pevcev. 🌺🌺🌺 Počivaj v miru naš angel.

Theres a lot of love and emotions in this video. What a lovely watch man.. He really united a lot of us on the Balkan 🇲🇰🇭🇷 The reading of the song is a bit off. The motives are nature and life but the song is a folk song about the hardship of Macedonian life during the early 1900's wars and occupations. It's a very depressive song; the man is asking for the sun to set and leave the world in darkness The person has given up on the world type thing.

U pesmu zajdi zajdi je opisan jedan ljudski zivot uporedzen sa prirodom uz 4godisnje doba prolet leto jesen zima ...znaci covjek se radja razvija zivi svoj zivot isto ko svako drvo u prirodi na njemu raste listici razvijaju se pozelene pa pozute i onda padu u jesen sa drveta i umiru i sto i ljudi zive mladost prodze dolaze dani kad svi ostarimo i kad dodje sudni cas odemo na onaj svet isto ko listici sa drveta.Ali kad doze prolet listici pocnu ponovo da rastu i suma ponovo pozeleni ali se ljudska mladost nazalost ne vraca ko sto se vracaju listice na drvama u sumi covek zauvek napusta ovaj svet ....To je ta prica u pesmu zajdi zajdi.

I play this song when life is heavy. It always bring tears to my eyes - and relive after. Toše like Orpheus could make the gods to cry by singing. He was also from the same area and he died young and tragic - it’s very balkanisch. Thank you 4 the music.

Thank you for keeping the memory of Tose. I can understand his language, but I cannot speak it- yet. I know that Tose is, was and will ever be one of the greatest higly developed spiritual Being incarnated into human body, that walked on our planet in our era. To keep a memory of him, just listening to him and waching his face, the facial expressions and emotions he experiences when he sings is the same as experiencing a deep spiritual experience, experiencing inner peace and enlightenment, only Tose - at least until today - was able by singing to create such experiences in us humans. Unfortunately, a lot of his documentary work is buried somewhere with his official heirs, such as the documentary film issued in 2009 The Hardest thing, and only because of financial self-interest. Everything that Tose created should be accessible to all of us, regardless of personal craving. Watching and listening to Tose, is salvation for Balcan's people, that was Tose mission, that is to unite and not to divide....we are all one, coming from the same divine source....here on this magnificent planet we just play various roles for learning and teaching experiences, Tose perfectly understood all this, his to early death was also a huge sacrifice for all of us on an ethereal level.....we all know, would he still be alive, that he would become the biggest global star , nobody, but nobody could be compared with him, becouse only he had everything , that is beauty inside and outside, outstanding strong and educated voice, humanity, spiritual greatness, wisdom, ecc ecc....

Thank you for the accurate presentation of Toše's brilliant performance of vocally and technically difficult song, which has a spiritual touch, only Toše could sing it with such imaginative sensibility, only a person with such magnificent spiritual purity as Toše can have a very good impact on our lives only by singing . The woman in the audience(the camera man shows her few times) is from Greece and she represented Greece on Eurovision,I forgot her name but she was stunned by his performance and we can see that from her reactions...A big Thank you from all the Macedonians and Tose fans for making this video so the rest of the world hear and see what kind of diamond the Balkans had!!Great job,and once again thank you ! Па толку ли е тешко да се научи? Всушност сите Југословени требаше одамна да си ги знаеме југословенските јазици и да се разбираме меѓусебно. Зарем не е смешно да знаете англиски или германски а да не разбирате македонски и словенски? И во Македонија сите треба да разбираме словенски а не само српскохрватски. Вие во српскохрватското говорно подрачје треба да разбирате македонски и словенски како што Македонците и Словенците разбираат српскохрватски. Мислам дека една од причините зошто Југославија ја нема, е затоа што едни народи се наметнуваа како супериорни над други. Ако Македонец или Словенец ви збори македонски или словенски, тогаш за вас тој е НАЦИОНАЛИСТ! „србомрзец“ или „хрватомрзец“. Жалосно што е така.
