Pinching helps control in a sense. You see male singers do this in many groups. If they allow a full flow, it hurts. And really, if these performers have a bit of trouble singing a ‘normal’ song. Not to say they will be bad at it. It’s just their voices are set for this setting.

I was with my hubby at an indoor Powwow auditorium where the entire building shook- I sat down in one of the auditorium seats, and woke up THREE HOURS later. Truly transporting songs. I am not sure about the vocal cord holding- some say it works to achieve a certain sound, and some say it's ineffectual and done for thinking it's working. I cannot scream so high to try it myself. Anyway, your outstanding faces and eyepopping shock made my YEARS and YEARS. I am so filled gladly that you listened, and then allowed that song to enter your essence. Good on you and your happiness with Songs. Now get looking at Chicken dances!!!
