Sorry but, I can't understand why people can keep listening to other great singers... I honestly cannot. Since I knew about Dimash, for me he is much more than a singer. The high vibrational sounds in his voice make me feel better instantly, it doesn't matter if he sings The Meaning of eternity, or Durdaraz... There's something in his voice that literally pierces every cell of my body, reaching my soul. I am totally convinced, my brain structure has changed since I started listening to Dimash. And his voice affects me at such a level, that I can't listen to anyone else. The greatest singers I listend to in the past, for me now they do not have any sense. I hope someone here understands what I mean and what I feel, because around me nobody does. 💙🦋💙

I was at the concert in Almaty. The concert last for nearly 4 hours and he doesn't seem to be tired at all. But the next day, he held a kind of M&G and he was clearly exhausted. He really gave it all on the stage

Hello, Richard and Johnny!!! By this point, hopefully it's obvious to you how much we Dears appreciate and enjoy your reactions! Looking at what you've put on the thumbnail and in the description, I am already extremely excited to hear your thoughts and to learn lots of new things. Really, thank you for all the amazing content you give us!! I'd like to suggest some more Dimash songs for you to react to. There are too many more that I really hope you will check out, but I'll just mention a few for now. Please check out Your Love, Know, Adagio, and Across Endless Dimensions. Know is especially interesting because he has performed it several times in different ways. If you watch the New Wave version or the MV, he sings in Russian. The lyrics are gorgeous and I don't need to say anything about Dimash's phenomenal vocals. However, you also definitely need to watch the vocalise version from his Arnau Tour. It is very unique, and maybe if you guys would like, you could do a reaction to both the New Wave version and the Arnau version in one video, similar to what you did with the different Diva Dance performances. I could also go on forever about the other three songs, which are all in English, but I'll stop for now because I've already written too much 😂 Once again, thank you very much, you guys! You are the best 🙏❤

Thanks for the reactions, we are looking forward to it. ❤ The first piece that Igor Krutoy and Lilia Vinogradova (lyrics) created for Dimash was the composition “Olimpico” in Italian, written specifically for the opening ceremony of the II European Games in Minsk in 2019. The cantata "Olimpico" was written taking into account Dimash's unique vocal abilities. The authors also created such works for him as "Passione", the duo "Ulisse" and the trio "Ti amo cosi", in which the artist performed together with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian at Igor Krutoy's anniversary show "Rhapsody of Ice". 🎶🎧

Yes, he is definitely human.There are times when he forget the lyrics, having sound or earpiece problems, ets. but what's great about Dimash is, it doesn't really matter and sometimes he just make jokes about it on stage which is very good because he took the chance to interact with his audience and make them laugh etc.

What a wonderful day! 😄 - There ist a new video with Dimash and Placido Domingo. Placindo was one of the Three Tenors, alongside José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti. - Also duet Dimash with Aida Garifullina "ULISSE". Aida is a beautiful opera soprano voice. She was the "Best Female Vocalist in Classical Music" at the Russian National Music Awards (2015). And since 2014 is an ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera. - Trio Dimash with Aida and Lara Fabian "Ti amo cosi". Lara sing a popy style. But the harmony is just gorgeous. One of most beautiful trios and song on this world in my opinion. - Dimash from Arnau tour "Знай (vocalise)" song. (Знай is Known in english) It was a normal Russian song. But this version is different. Dimash sings without words with pure melismas.You see every note of melisma on his face. Every! We don't want to press and are waiting patiently. It's just difficult not to plead. 😁

Dimash seems to struggle only when he is ill and even then he is above what most people can do. When he did Daybreak on Singer 2017 he was very ill. Had lost his voice and had to have injections in his throat. You can see it in his eyes. He STILL went out and sang. He later did the song at his Bastau concert and you can see a huge difference between a healthy Dimash and an ill one.

The new duet from Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers that Dimash sings with Placido Domingo is epic. These two masters were both judges at the Virtuosos competition. Plácido is 83, Dimash is 29. The song is on Dimash’s channel.

It was aired on Friday (19.01.2024) on television in 5 countries and the video is already on Dimash's official channel. Maestro Domingo just turned 83 today. He is a legend, I have been following his work since the 3 tenors (Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras). In December, he asked Dimash to perform a duet when they worked together as a jury in a Budapest project, the Virtuosos.

I wanted to add that when Dimash first sang Stranger in China he was sick and running a fever. You could see him sweating and straining and when he finished they had to take him to the hospital. Another time in China he showed up for a show but he lost his voice and could not sing and wanted to tell the people who came to see him. He told them he did not want to lipsync.

Dimash has amazing self discipline and yes he's had some 'oops, that didn't come out right' BUT his recovery reflexes are too good that one just goes 'oh' and he's moved on to the next amazing thing. His regime to maintain vocal, physical and spiritual health keeps him in shape. He said in an interview that many of the songs he sings are not easy, that's why he has to keep improving his skills and why he trains daily to perform well. The Devil has nothing on Dimash when it comes to achieving goals!. If you get the chance to watch an interview he did with a lady from the KZTV it's very insightful of the down to earth Dimash and his take on music and why he does what he does. In another interview he said music should be beautiful and appealing to the heart of the listener (words to that effect). I believe its why Dimash won't just sing anything (e.g you won't hear vulgarity in his songs) its like for him a song has to have meaning and purpose be it about romantic love, life, death, in rememberance, praise and honor or encouraging others (e.g Olimpico). I will wait for your reaction on his duet with Placido Domingo, it's on his channel. it's awesome.

The Story of One Sky that you reacted to was at the 2.5 hour part of the concert and it came after he sang Stranger. If you want to see him sing a song in only 1.5 octaves with lots of emotion and love check out Qaragym Ai 2020.

I love that you’re looking at the composition as well as Dimash’s vocals. You probably understand why Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to work with Dimash after hearing him sing (in the video of Sinful Passion Krutoy rises at the end to start the standing ovation-I’m not sure if that’s the first time he heard Dimash, but it was shortly after this concert that the two began to collaborate, and I believe Olympico was one of the first collabs). With this song, I’m intrigued by the military tattoo of the drums and the super dominant, dramatic vocals. Until I got hold of a translation, I was thinking this song would be more of a military-themed piece. Weird to put the love and flowers themed lyrics to this super dramatic music but I like the tension between the two elements. There are a couple pieces where Dimash supposedly had a cold-in fact there were several pieces in a period of time like that, and you can hear him reaching for notes a little bit. In the SOS where he’s wearing red, his hand is shaking in places and he has trouble hitting the highest notes. I wondered if his team had him pushing too hard at the time. He seems much better now, and in fact I’ve noticed in a recent concert version of Stranger that he is accessing his “bass” register more easily, which suggests he’s finding more time to practice. Loved this analysis!

The Japanese version of Autumn Strong is called Ikanaide. You cannot miss the duet Dimash did recently with Placido Domingo called The Pearl Fishers ????. Sorry,, my short term memory is shot. I think I've seen it 20 times and it still wets my face, even after it's over.. It was his dream from 5 years old to sing with Placido.

The video is on the channel of Dimash. - You find mostly the subtitles for the songs in the cc/settings, also in the video of Olimpico. - Dimash moves a lot in his concerts.😀 Dimash is very talented and works on his craft very heard, but he doesn't speak all the languages he sings in. I love listening to Dimash so much because of the color of his voice. It's not conducive because of the many octaves.

(BTS is my other favorite) Helps that I find myself smiling throughout. :) Speaking about Dimash and an "off" day for performing - On "The Singer," the show Dimash did in China that he started with SOS, there was a day he performed although ill. The song is "Autumn Strong," I believe. Edit: Its "Daybreak," not Autumn Strong. Realizing he's only 22 at the time for me makes it even more amazing. I'll add s link to a video when I get a chance I remember reading something about his father saying that Dimash does not take a note that he can not hit. Obviously, that does not mean he can sing all notes at all times, but I think he has an understanding of his abilities in the moment that allow him to adjust if he must. It is really rather incredible to witness.

You mentioned the composer's freedom in the context of collaboration with Dimash and his incredible vocal range - in 2017, Dimash sang "Ocean Over The Time", the theme song for the video game Moonlight Blade, composed by Thomas Parisch. It won in the "Hollywood Music in Media Awards" in the nomination "The best original song of video game". Thomas Parisch said in an interview: "....."......Apart from that it was really fun to work with this outstanding singer. Dimash truly is a natural when it comes to musical expression and his range and control spanning several octaves are absolutely unique. I really wanted to use and showcase all this in the song. Originally I was writing for two and a half octaves, which I thought rather large already. But in the recording with his improvisation towards the climax, he pushed it beyond and unbelievable three and half octaves. To witness that live was a real treat. A fun fact about the vocal recording is that him being Kazakh, he sang in a language he is not fluent in. So he truly did a remarkable job conveying all that emotion while he had to pay special attention to his pronunciation of the Mandarin lyrics. Apart from that, we had other complicating factors of the production since it was spread out all over the world. Only the piano was recorded in L.A. (for which we got the one and only Randy Kerber - what a pleasure and honor!), while the vocals and other band instruments were tracked in Bejing, and the orchestra was recorded in Budapest (but monitored remotely from Beijing; deadlines left no other choice). I actually got to go to China for the Beijing part. It was nice since I finally got to meet the whole team from Tencent and also got to work with Dimash personally. A truly memorable experience." YES it does exist, but it's still remarkable. He did a London concert with a 103 temperature and his voice was not at his full command as a result....actually it scared me listening....thank God he no damage!......but he survived it just fine obviously. And in his long concerts, he does at times change the high known notes of a song like SOS, or Autumn Strong to lower notes....or leaves parts out and lets the audience sing.....and he has said in interviews when they asked him about what is your highest & what is your lowest note, one of his responses is "it depends on the day".

I was so excited to see your Dimash reaction this morning. I wait for them. The most requested ARE the ones intended to stun you. He does have a very large body of work after 7 yrs and every song is incredible. My current list of favorites is around 65. The songs are beautiful in any language, but especially the ones in Kazakh and Chinese. For something totally different from the epic Olympico, the intimate Ikanaide is one of the most perfect performances ever done by anyone. He had sung this song many times in Chinese under the name Autumn Strong. The performance of Ikanaide was his first time singing it in the original Japanese. It was done in the studio during the pandemic and livestreamed for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. The sad backstory of the song is very interesting as well.
