Thank you for one of the most intelligent reactions I have ever seen of Angelina (and I've watched over 1500! She has been described as a "force of nature". Her musicality is inborn and she has the added ability to draw you into her world and to communicate the emotions of the song to you so that it feels s if she is singing just for you alone.

Really enjoyed your discussion of how she is enjoying herself and how she brings the listener in. Along with a beautiful tone and skills, there seems to be an innate respect for the audience, that she wants to share her own enjoyment of singing. Some singers seem determined to beat you into submission, to grovel and admire their skill and power. She creates a trust that she will take you along on a complex emotional journey and that she will treat you with respect. I don't hear many vocal coaches talk about the audience, so thank you for seeing this.

A great well informed knowledgeable reaction thanks for that , Angelina is quite a rare breed of singer, with to much class to be competing on these circus talent shows, but she needed the exposure to the American audience which she now has.

I have watched many reactions to Angelina, but you really know your jazz. You are the first among the reactors who I have heard to mention "scat." As I you are aware, that was a technique for which Ella was famous. Angelina's range also reminds me of Sarah Vaughan.
