This pastor is a 1 in 1,000,000 who is willing to speak about serious issues facing our communities and not afraid to still call sin by it's right name. Praying for you pastor... Praying the courage and protection of Yah as you move forward in faith... your labors are not in vain... and your words are not falling on deaf ears.

I live in Ontario, Canada. I always wanted to homeschool but becuase my daughter has autism, and after YEARS of heaaring autism professional tell me over and over that putting her in a public school setting would be good for her development of social skills, I relented and allowed her to go into grade 1. I could already tell half way through the year that this was, as I knew deep down, foolish thinking and that she was not learning anything about social interaction in school otehr than how to be ignored and hurt becase peers have no empathy for difference when they are in a group of same-age peers (there are studies to prove that). So I already knew that we were not going to have her go another year. But then at the beginning of June of the school year, I show up to the school and what do I see flying on the flag poll? A rainbow flag. I aws confused, angry, shocked, and felt ill. It turns out my province decided to have june be Gay Pride MONTH in all of our public schools. Yes, that includes elementary school. Never in the history of Ontario has a public school flown anything on its flag pole other than the canadian flag or the ontario provincial flag. Not a flag for aboriginal rights (and, btw, June is also Aboriginal (native american) heritage month, and they got nothing from the province. If I were fist nations i would have been outraged- we were here first and we get nothing, but gays get a flag an an entire months of programing????) , not an autism awareness, not support our veterans, nothing. But for the first time in our history a flag supporting a cause flew for a MONTH on all of our public school flagpoles and it was the gay pride glad. By God's grace the principal of my school as not in favor of this so despite the fact that he was obligated to fly it, he did absolutely no programing in the school about gay pride. That was the Lord protecting my daughter (we would ahve puller he out of course but still- it let her finish her year), but there were many other schools, including elementary schools, that did TONS of programming about homosexuality and gender yada yada yada. When I contacted the school board with my concerns I was told that I was "heterosexist". That was it. That was the nail in the coffin. I was alwys mostly sure I would never put my kids in public school but that was the thing that absolutely sealed it for me. Public schools are not places of education anymore in the west- they are places of indoctrination and cheap childcare for double income or single parent households. So sad.

So where do you want people who are 🏳️‍🌈 to go? What do you want them to do about their sexuality? Just like you would prefer people to show compassion to your autistic child, 🏳️‍🌈 folks also need understanding.
@Topg1
@Topg1 3 жыл бұрын
This is America I believe people can have their own beliefs about sexuality. However, no one must force their beliefs on anyone. I personally don’t agree with lgbtq+ ideology but I’m not going to imposed my view on them. I’m sure many think my Christianity is ancient and stupid. I’m still allowed to work, marry (if I want), worship, etc. Why deprive lgbtq+ people of these basic human rights due to different believes about sexuality?

Hello. This is the first time I've stated this publicly, but it's a view I've actually held since I was a suspicious early teenager, in the early '70s, when the word "gay" in its current sense first took hold. I've always watched the way words progress through the language. I remember when the coinage first began to be promulgated, and I could immediately see why. If you read any literature before about 1971, you'll find the meaning of the word confined to its long-used sense. It was rarely, if ever, applied to any description of one's sexuality (sexual preference). Since its hijacking, it’s been impossible to use the word in any other sense without having to at least clarify. It's time Christians actually debated the application of the word itself, instead of using it unthinkingly, and therefore buying into it. I'm noticing that even Christian preachers scripturally opposed to homosexuality inadvertently normalise the use of "gay" by treating it as synonymous with homosexuality. Consider the statement, “I’m not a hater of gay people”. To make this statement is to say more than one might mean to say. Apart from inaccurately expressing a truth about Christians (they don’t hate the person, only the sin) they are also unconsciously making a concession to an embedded command that we see homosexuality a certain way; that we de-couple the “state of being” from the act; that we discount any idea that choice is a factor - even though we apply the notion of volition to any other sin. It makes debate much trickier than it ought to be. The church should not be contributing to this situation. The word “gay” was invented for a reason. Before its use spread to the general population, "homosexual" was the term in popular use, obviously. The homosexual movement, as did other loud interest groups, had some ingenious PR working for them. They achieved two things very quickly: they developed "weapon words" to shame opponents and make them fear expressing opposition ("homophobic" was just one result), and they found a little word to describe themselves which was, in fact, a complete redefinition of who and what they were. The term "gay" enabled them to detach sexual preference from their self-description. Once that was achieved, it was easy for the word to snowball semantically. To be "gay" now means something other than to have a sexual inclination; it now describes a state of being. It has allowed homosexuals to place this state of being on a par with one's race, gender or nationality (see Martina Navratilova’s description of those who opposed same-sex marriage as “racist”. Once it would have been considered a ridiculous equivalence). “Gay” in this sense has probably usurped the original word as a lexical entry, but it wasn’t a matter of natural semantic development. Interest groups these days are pretty savvy to the trick of kidnapping words and meanings. The implications of this coinage are huge. It created an entirely new ground for debate, and we keep meeting them on this playing-field. Even Christians have been cowed into drawing the line at questioning this very self-description, imposed and insisted upon by the homosexual sector of society (calling it a “community” is another feat of linguistic legerdemain, and we have fallen for that one as well). Those who advocate for the homosexual movement have been enabled, thanks to this coinage, to speak of being “born gay” (because, let’s face it, you can’t say someone is born with a sexual preference); to search for a “gay gene” in order to reinforce the notion that homosexuality is inherent; to create their own victimology (it’s more emotive to say you are picked on for what you ARE [gay] rather than what you do [prefer to have sexual relations with people of the same sex]); to march alongside black people or people with disabilities as an oppressed minority; to speak further myths into existence, like, say, a “gay holocaust”; to extend the usage to others by employing sly “gay” words like "bromance" (others are "man hug" and "man crush") that (homo)sexualise even friendship; to create gay “heroes”, gay “icons”, gay literature - it goes on. The development of this little word is testimony to the human ability to conjure concepts out of nothing and then reify them by speaking of them endlessly until they become real - in the sense that they affect behaviour and impact society. One symptom of the evil chaos that besets the world is that epistemological problems abound, and are proliferating exponentially. This begins with language - just look at the staggeringly extensive lexicon the Covid event has introduced with a mere year of its existence. Truth becomes the casualty. Christians need to be a little more thoughtful and discerning and question existing narratives, no matter how entrenched they now are in “normality”. If they don’t, they inadvertently play a part in furthering these agendas, and make it more difficult for fellow Believers to combat them.

I was required by law and School District policy to endure all this public indifference to the "Gay Agenda". By the way, when did public acceptance of inappropriate behavior in events like this one of undisciplined children begin? . Back when I was a child, if my parents had allowed this undisciplined and inappropriate behavior, I would have been taken out and been given something to cry about. Alternatively, the Ushers/Sextons, Deacons or even the pastor or speakers would have asked the parents of the misbehaving child to make the behavior cease or to take their undisciplined children and leave. The lesson/sermon was great, but largely spoiled by these children and their parents inability to control their offensive behaviors.I know that I am out of step on this issue and will have many criticize me, go right ahead.

TRU 2 HIM It's such a two-headed issue. EVERYONE'S WELCOME. I expect women to have children. I expect families to be at sermons and not be segregated. However... ONCE YOUR CHILD BEGINS TO CRY OR ACT UP IT IS RESPECTFUL TO GET UP AND CHANGE YOUR LOCATION UNTIL YOUR CHILD IS UNDER CONTROL. This is not an airplane or otherwise confined space. As a speaker and lecturer I personally CANNOT tolerate crying children and neither should the others in attendance. I have known some churches with space to have a separate room to accommodate these issues. But when women simply sit there and act as though it's not an issue, MAKES IT AN ISSUE.

I had and raised five children myself, but when in church if my child was acting up or crying, I would take them out and walk with them in hopes that they would fall asleep and I could go back in. I did this so that everyone else could hear the message. There is a time and a place for children to play, and to cry, and that is not during the service when the preacher is giving an important message. One commenter below said that those of us whom complained about the children making noise, were like the disciples who were forbidding the children to come to Jesus... This is not the same situation at all. Jesus was walking about greeting, teaching, and healing people, and then took a break and picked up one or two children to put on his lap, and used his action to give an illustration as to how are to come to God as little children. He was not saying to allow children to act up, thus preventing people from hearing his message. The Apostle Paul did not allow children, or anyone for that matter, to interrupt when he was preaching. He was spreading the Gospel with little time and had much to say. It was especially important for the men, who did not yet know the gospel, to learn so that they could carry on after Paul had left.

@@nparksntx the parent couldn't take the child out so everybody else can hear what he's saying? That's just good manners - since we DO have nurseries now, why wouldn't the parent make use of that? That's just selfish - not caring if anyone else can hear, as long as you're not inconvenienced!

@@marilynnewland2838 Pretty sure Jesus was the one that said not send the children away. Not all churches have nurseries and corporate worship is for everyone. If you can't handle a child hearing and being surrounded by the word of God, Maybe you can remove yourself to a room so as not to be disturbed? They have church online these days if being around fellow believers and their families is an inconvenience to you. The man giving the sermon himself never sent his own children away. He wrote about it in one of his books.

With big, big and huge respect to the Hanmaun Church and Clair Lee: And all others: Part 1 ::: I am a 52 year old @t in South Africa.Our big-line church and government has very recently also approved homosexuality/bisexuality.Please I beg you to read further.......Growing up as a Christian in a Christian family and being every Sunday in church- which condemn homosexuality/lesbianism/bisexuality those times (in which I will refer to as "gay" in further writing for the ease of it). Again : Our churches and government condemn gayness as a sin. Part ::2 Since childhood, I had a stronger desire to be with boys rather than girls. As I was growing older, the "attraction"becomes stronger and stronger. I could not understand why. Later around age 12 --- I know for sure that I was gay. Part 3 As I knew at that stage to be gay was wrong according to the Holy Word (Bible) I start fighting against it. One thing I really want you to understand, is that I have never, never, never ask or choose to be gay. In retrospect -- no one has. Who on earth would want to be gay and condemned by family,friends and society if they could have been normal?(heterosexual). I am emphasizing this fact again:No gay person choose to be gay.Please believe me on this one. So I had this continuous struggle to fight against it. And I start praying that Our Lord Jesus and the Almighty God Father and the Holy Spirit will take this struggle away. Not once. Not twice.But countless times.Crying before the Lord. Pleading with Him. Please God Jesus , take away this pain. (Only recently, after a very long intensive debate in church I realized that was not only my prayer through the years. It was every gay`s prayer.And crying out. It is really not nice to be condemned the whole time. Part 4 More or less on age 30 (although it was a growing process for myself), I actively. deliberately, desperately accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior by getting baptized and openly declare that Jesus is my Lord and Savoir,has died on the cross for my sins and that I that my sins are forgiven.Because I was really, really tired of being rejected and condemned.I stopped dating boys and start dating girls.This went on for about 5 years. Then I realized that I am lying to myself. I am lying to the world.I am lying to the girls.And to @t this 5 years, I was terrible unhappy, depressed,crying,praying --- hear my heart. And I stopped dating girls. My desire to be with a man was still there. I went for counseling.I went for breaking of strongholds. I`ve tried everything possible.And in the process I have many conversations with God. So I ask God for an explanation or an answer. Then God answered me : When my Son was on earth, did He heal every one? Or just some? Did he heal all the leapers? Did he cast out all demons? Did the leapers ask to be leapers? Did the blind ask to be blind? The crippled ask to be crippled? Was every one healed on earth when Our Lord Jesus walked on earth? And God said: Did you ask to be gay?......... Just take up your cross and follow Me. Which I did . But still unsure.Did I hear right?Very recently, our church - -as I said the main line in South Africa realized that in the original original scriptures (where all the text referring to men sleeping with men ) was not the intention of the writer......I know you going to sit up straight now...... In those years and throughout the years in all nations and cultures up to today......there was and is and will always be be a percentage of men who want to sleep with men.That was fine with the author.What he actually had in mind was :::::::::::the raping of men:::::::::If you read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, it is clear that at Lots house, men wanted to rape men.But that alone was not enough to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. The fact that they worshiped foreign gods, that they did not follow the commandments and laws of the time and other things was the main reason. The word "rape" or "raping men"had no term "rape" as we know it today,in those years. This is how I understand it now.....to be gay is a "sickness" like leprosy. Or cancer. or blindness.Death-mute. Is there a cure for all of these? Did any one who has it ask for it? Last part::::: Coming to the New Testament.Paul said. I wish that all off you can be single like me.Some is so by choice. Others are made like this.Others prefer to get married.Coming to the last point:::The Big Commandment:(By Jesus)Love your God firstly and wholeheartedly.Then love your nearest (others) like yourself. I am 100% sure he did not have homosexuality on mind when He said this.He had Love on His mind. The Agape (Godly Love) . And finally the conclusion: If two people love each other with an unconditional love, and they are in a relationship, without causing any hurt or pain, whether it is man and women ,men and men, women and women, blind and seeing, healthy and sick, what would Jesus say? As a Gay man : God,Lord Almighty, Jesus and Holy Spirit , I accept you as my Creator, my Leader, my Wisdom, my Insight, my Hope, My First Love and my Redeemer and Savior. Please Lord, if I am still sinning forgive me. If You find what I wrote above not to be correct, show me and guide me. With your soft and gentle Love. I pray for every child of you who accepted you, and also for the sinner who has not accepted @t Jesus Name. Amen Please brothers and sisters in Christ. Feel free to differ for me.Pray for me, As I pray for you. With Utmost Respect. And Love. Now very important Above writing was the very basics in a nutshell. ( As I understand it now) There is much, much, much more to it........EG But God created Adam end Eve........He also created sickness......Be Blessed, Kobus

I have 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I'm used to baby noises, but there is a time and a place for everything. We are taught in the bible to esteem others higher than ourselves by being considerate. The mother should have excused herself with the baby and left the room.
